Poem-7: A boy and a girl

One strong in mind
And heart
One in peices
Drifting
The boy picking her up
Dusting her off
Helping her heal
As the time flew by
Things changed
Things got dark
The boy now the one in peices
The boy now drifts in an ocean of rage and emotion
The boy now needs to be picked up
Dusted off
And helped
The girl after all the time
Now far exceeds the boy
The girl now has only a few cracked pieces
The girl now in a panic
The girl now in tears
The girl wants to help
She tries
And she tries
And tries
And tries
And tries
The boy drifting farther and farther from her reach
The boy slowly sinking
The one once so bright
So pure
So sweet
Now dull
Broken
Bitter
She tries and tries
Crying out for him to come back
Crying for the version of him she lost
Crying
She wants to save him
But he doesn't want to be saved
He has accepted he will drown in the ocean
She fears the day
Fears the day she loses him for good
Fears the day she no longer sees him
She crys
And tries
Will the one she knew ever come back
Can she help him
The boy and the girl
