✨Dear reader please note there is some sense of violence.
I hope you enjoy the read and the adventure. ✨

The building is high in the air, nothing will change the feeling of cold air on a person's skin. As I stand there on the edge, I remember my father. The person who left me and my mother to fend for ourselves. My mom is a nurse at our local hospital. I go to North High School.  My life there is all but great. In all my years there I have never felt more excluded from everything.  As I take a step down from the edge, I walked to the door open it, and walked all the way to my apartment. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a huge kitchen and a great living room. My room is great... If I can say that, my mom is always telling me to make it more tidy. But my idea of tidying up is just cleaning the basics. My mom is asleep on the couch as always. She works a lot of hours and hasn't got time to make a bed in the morning. My dad as I mentioned is always on his own mission. He usually just comes around when he is in a tight spot or requires cash. My mom always helps him, but he never comes over when we ask him to. And always right before he leaves he tells me he is sorry he forgot the flowers.
As I walk into the kitchen, I prepare my lunch. It is just a plain sandwich with peanut butter and honey on it. I pack it in my lunch box and put it in the fridge. I hear the tv go on " Today on the news, people were caught running away from a laboratory and just in it appears one of them has gotten away. But more on that later. I am Jess and this was your news clip." With that, I turned around and went into my room. I lay there on my bed thinking about what the lady said on the news. As I thought of that I fell asleep.
