Thank you to my readers who make me feel like a real 'author.' I write not for fame, fortune, or a future Netflix adaptation (although I wouldn't turn them down), but I write as a way to put some more happiness and love out into the world. Your support encourages me even on days that aren't so happy or lovely and keep me writing my stories and bring them to life.

Thank you to my parents who made me into the great reader I am. My dad taught me that great writers are all born from great readers and my mom taught me what it looks like to be a great reader, so thank you to my mom and dad who instilled a love of literature in my soul.

Thank you to my son, Tj, who much like Sj in this novel, continues to fill my life with light and joy with everything he does. I love watching you grow up and become a wonderful human being.

Thank you to my best friends, Hannah, Lizzy, and Alyssa who all support me writing and help inspire me to write stories of romance, laughter, and strong family bonds with unique, fierce, and powerful women just like them.
