I couldn't believe it. He really had cheated.

I had loved him with everything I had, but that wasn't enough, I wasn't enough.

"Eric.."

He looks at me and sighs, "I'm sorry, Ariel. But I want her, this isn't even something I want anymore with you."

Heart stomped on the floor, shattered.

"I never wanted you."

I couldn't hear anymore. I ran away as fast as I could, anywhere but there.

I've moved on, and I don't want him anymore.

I saw him in town square a couple months later and he looked at my beautiful auburn hair. "Ariel.."

"Yes?"

"You look—"

"Where's Vanessa?"

He sighed and attempted to grab my hand, but I pushed it away. "No."

"She cheated—"

"That's too bad, there's someone else Eric."

I go to walk away but smirk, "I never wanted you."
