"So, your friend is getting married?" Abhishek inquired, breaking the silence as I nodded in confirmation.

"Yeah, this month," I confirmed, a smile gracing my lips.

"What's taking Shubman so long?" Ishan interjected, diverting the conversation to our missing companion.

"I'm not sure," I replied, furrowing my brows in concern. "Let's check on him," I suggested, rising from the bed and making my way to the bathroom.

Knocking on the bathroom door, I called out to Shubman, growing increasingly worried when there was no response. Eventually, the latch clicked open, revealing a drenched Shubman on the other side.

"Hey, can you help me out?" he requested, his tone tinged with embarrassment. "What happened?" I questioned, stepping into the bathroom to assess the situation.

"The pipe kind of broke?" he replied tentatively, his expression a mixture of sheepishness and concern. "You what?!" I exclaimed, aghast at the revelation.

Stepping forward, I quickly shut off the water and assessed the damage. With a sigh, I set about rectifying the situation, all the while inwardly chiding Shubman for his clumsiness. "You should have closed the pipe first Shub." I sighed. "Sorry baby," he muttered running his hand through his wet hair.

Once the shower was fixed, we both exited the bathroom, albeit soaked from head to toe. Abhishek and Ishan greeted us with a mixture of amusement and concern as we recounted our mishap.

"What the hell happened to you two?" Abhay's voice followed suit as he entered the room.

"This grown child broke the shower pipe and left the tap open," I grumbled, irritation tinging my tone as I dried my face with a towel.

"You guys should change into dry clothes first. We'll meet you downstairs for breakfast," Abhay suggested, concern evident in his voice.

Shubman and I exchanged glances, realizing the state of our damp attire. With a nod of agreement, we resolved to change before joining the others for breakfast.

As we stood on the bath mat, water droplets cascading from our bodies, I couldn't help but feel a sense of closeness to Shubman. Despite the mishap, there was an unspoken connection between us, a bond that seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment.

In the next moment, Shubman's lips crashed onto mine, igniting a fiery passion between us. I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer as our bodies melded together. "God, I've been wanting to do this all morning," he breathed out between kisses.

"Me too..." I gasped in response, lost in the intensity of the moment. With a swift motion, he hoisted me onto the table, and I eagerly complied, my legs encircling his waist as he stood between them.

"You know, this table wasn't meant for this," I teased, a playful smile tugging at my lips. "Who cares? It's perfect for us," Shubman smirked in reply, his hands already roaming beneath the fabric of my tank top.

As his touch trailed patterns on my bare skin, soft moans escaped my lips. "Shubman..." I breathed out his name, my voice laced with desire. The intensity of our kiss deepened, the world around us fading into oblivion as we surrendered to the fervor of our desire.

Eventually, Shubman withdrew, his breath mingling with mine as we gazed into each other's eyes. "You're so beautiful," he said gently, his expression filled with adoration.

"And you're irresistible," I replied, blushing under his gaze. His appearance, illuminated by the soft sunlight filtering through the window, was nothing short of mesmerizing. "You look like a Greek god right now," I remarked, admiring the way the sunlight played on his features.

"Only because I'm with my goddess," he chuckled, his grin lighting up his face. With a tender gesture, he ran a hand through his tousled locks before wiping a stray droplet of water from my dampened t-shirt.

"You're such a tease," I said with a smile, feeling a rush of affection for him. "Only for you," he replied, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

But it was his eyes that captivated me the most, illuminated by the golden hues of the morning light, radiating warmth and affection. At that moment, as we stood bathed in the gentle glow of the sun, I felt an overwhelming sense of connection, as if every fibre of my being was intertwined with his.

"I love you, Shubman," I whispered softly, the words carrying the depth of my emotions.

"I love you too, Reethu," he replied tenderly, his voice filled with sincerity.

And as we lingered in each other's embrace, I knew that this was just the beginning of our extraordinary journey together. Resting his head in the curve of my neck, Shubman's warm breath sent shivers down my spine, igniting a flutter of butterflies in my stomach. But our intimate moment was interrupted by the ringing of his phone.

With a sigh, he reluctantly pulled away, his lips leaving a trail of soft kisses along my neck as he reached for his phone.

"Hello," he answered, his voice low and husky. "Han," he replied, his tone indicating he was engaged in a brief conversation.

"Aa rahe hain, ruk," he said, his eyes meeting mine briefly before returning to his call. "They're waiting for us," he informed me, his voice tinged with a hint of regret as he resumed peppering my neck with gentle kisses.

I couldn't help but hum in response, relishing the sensation of his lips against my skin.

"I have to change," I spoke softly, reluctantly breaking the spell as I reluctantly pulled away from his embrace.

He shook his head slightly, a hint of reluctance in his eyes as he moved away from me, allowing me the space to prepare for the day ahead.
