Wanda glanced over quickly, wondering who was this equally confused stranger and why she was talking to her. She looked back into the shop's window, still confused about the item on her list when it dawned on her as she did a double take. She looked in shock as Y/n kept looking forward, clearly failing to stop herself from smiling.
"Which idiot would tell me to get a book from a jewelry store? Right?" Y/n turned to Wanda, barely reacting in time as Wanda crashed into her, arms wrapped around Y/n's neck as she hugged her tight. Y/n laughed as she held Wanda, happy to be here and feel her again. "I miss you too, Wands. But if you don't ease up a little, this might be the last time you'll see me. Alive," Y/n chuckled as Wanda let go almost reluctantly, dropping her hands to hold Y/n's instead.
"Oh my god! It's you? It's really you?!" Wanda asked in disbelief before she stepped back. She tilted her head as the realization hit her. "Did you really want something from here, or were you just lying to me?"
"I mean, lie is an awfully strong way to say it." Wanda batted Y/n's arm at her reply, making Y/n chuckle. "Well, if you still wanted to get me something from the store, then I'm not going to be a fool and say no, right?" Y/n teased as they looked at each other. "What's a little lie if it means I get to see you, Miss Maximoff?" Y/n smiled bashfully.
Wanda pulled Y/n in again, this time enveloping her in a gentle embrace. "I guess it's a lie I can forgive." Wanda took a deep breath, Y/n's perfume filling her senses as she let herself get lost in whatever she was feeling. She couldn't be bothered to hide it from Y/n right now. "I'm so happy you're here."
"Me too," Y/n said as they pulled away from each other. "Why don't you show me a good pub to go to? All this lying makes me thirsty." Wanda laughed as she took Y/n's hand in hers, leading her down the street. Y/n followed her happily, occasionally glancing down at their hands, fingers intertwined together. "I gotta say... It's like, the third time now that you're a sight for sore eyes, Wands."
"Really? How about all the other times?" Wanda asked, glancing back with a cheeky smile.
Y/n laughed, her heart blooming with warmth at her reply. "I've only told you about it three times. If I keep telling you every time it happens, then it'll get old and I'll just bore you to death."
"Hmm. It's nice to have a reminder once in a while, you know," Wanda teased.
"I'll remind you all you want if you get me a nice gift from the store earlier. A bracelet, or maybe a necklace? A ring sounds nice too." Y/n blushed just as the words slipped past her mouth.
"A ring?! Well, at least buy me dinner first, Miss Summers!" Wanda laughed as Y/n joined her. They approached a junction at the end of the street and made a turn. Wanda suddenly stopped, which made Y/n peer from behind her. What she saw made her move in front of Wanda quickly. She felt the heat rising, her wisps dancing subtly at her fingertips. "Don't come any closer." Y/n's eyes flashed blue as a warning, ready to act if needed.
"Y/n. Wanda. I don't mean any harm." Vision approached the women slowly; his hands raised.
"Stay where you are. What are you doing here?" Y/n's voice was harsh, the tension rising as she assessed the situation.
Vision stayed put, looking down before he met their eyes again. "I'm here to apologize."
"Really? How can I be sure that you're not telling Tony where we are right now?"
"I'm not, I promise. I—I still feel... guilty, about what happened. I'm here alone, on my own accord. I disobeyed direct orders just to be here. I haven't told anyone, and do not intend to do so at all. Please," Vision pleaded, his eyes searching Y/n's and Wanda's. "If you'd allow me, I'll show you that I'm not a threat."
