"Oh, hey Isa," Sawyer greeted her.
"Hi," Isa responded softly. "I just, uh, wanted to say sorry if Becky was snippy yesterday."
Teddy could see Ellie giving her, Sawyer, and Dora a look that clearly said she was confused, but she chose to ignore it for now to focus on Isa.
"It's okay," Sawyer reassured Isa, before continuing, "But..."
"But what?" Isa asked.
Sawyer looked hesitant to continue. Teddy wasn't entirely sure if this is what Sawyer was about to say, but she knew something that she felt Isa should be told, so she started typing into her AAC app. "I think Talia was more affected by things than we were."
Isa blinked in confusion.
"Talia's the girl who bumped into Becky," Teddy clarified through her AAC app.
"Oh," Isa said. "Listen, I'll have to go sit with the other cheerleaders during lunch, so can you tell Talia that Becky didn't mean to be so mean to her? She knows it was an accident."
"Shouldn't she tell her that herself?" Ellie muttered under her breath. Teddy elbowed her lightly to remind them that she didn't even really know what was happening in the first place.
"Don't worry, we will," Sawyer assured the shorter girl.
"Isa! You coming?" Teddy heard Ruby's voice call from the front of the classroom.
"Yeah," Isa responded, before turning back to the other four girls and muttering a "Thank you" before hurrying after Ruby.
"Uh, what was that about?" Ellie asked after Isa left. "And why can't this Becky girl say all this to that Talia girl herself?"
Well, we only saw Isa approach us. While it's easy to automatically assume that Becky put her up to this, it isn't entirely clear, Teddy thought. Maybe this sentiment isn't even Becky's in the first place. This could all be Isa's thoughts.
