He//Him

He was unconventionally beautiful

With crooked teeth and crumpled lips

A smile that murdered women

And eyes only for Him

Eyes like sapphire laced with gold, Him

Hair darker than an alley nowhere

Truth and love was whispered by Him

He was truly happy with Him

Him and He grew old and grey

Time aged them, they went through

Homophobia, savage beatings and

Aggressive make out sessions

They were that couple every

Boy, girl, and animal envied

Everyone stared at them judgingly

But they never noticed

Why?

Because He only has eyes for Him

Background Story:

Just a little bit of a gay love poem to brighten up your life. Have a gay day everyone, it was so fun to write this. I guess I just got so sick of seeing he/she her/him poems/stories so I was like why not make it He/Him for once. Hopefully I didn't do too badly. I wanted to it be along the lines of the other poem I wrote about the moon and sun.

No other song deserved to represent this poem okay, sue me. Ellie Goulding gives me Goosebumps.

Hope you all find your He or Her depending on your preferences.
