THEODORE SILVER WAS NOT IMMUNE TO THE RUMORS AROUND OUTER BANKS, even with the money that lined his pockets. He'd heard them all - troubled child, selfish teenager, spoilt brat - yet he'd never really conformed to one in particular. For Theo, life has always been about doing what he wanted to make himself happy, and that most certainly has never involved caring what the stuck up people around him thought. No, Theo was determined to break free from kook stereotypes and make it on his own.
The bad part was that Outer Banks flourished under ridiculous stereotypes, the rich practically ruling the place as people suffered mere miles from them. It's what he's seen all his life, his own mother a victim of greed and hatred for people that weren't as well off as her. Thankfully, he'd had the steady influence of his father to guide him away from her ridiculous ideals, and it had resulted in a boy who didn't know where he stood amongst the hundreds around him.
He was seen as an outlier, somebody whom the Pogues wouldn't approach and somebody the Kooks didn't know how to.
So, on his own accord, he looked to find his place.
From the moment he was capable, Theo had loved to write, to express himself through written words rather than saying them aloud. He'd simply always had a talent for descriptive thoughts and phrases, able to beautifully recount aspects of the world around him and make people feel things. What better way to finally tell the people of Kildare Island what you think about them, right?
It had started that way, chapters upon chapters about the way life worked amongst the richest residents of the town and how they constantly drained the life from the people around them without even realising it. Some were even lucky enough to get their own chapters filled to the brim with hatred filled words and painful reminders of how unfair life can be.
The introduction of a certain blonde haired pogue had changed that completely, the sunshine that radiated off him casting a brightness over Theo that he'd never experienced before. He was so full of life, an enigma even, and it confused Theo to the point where he couldn't help but express his thoughts in the only way he knew how - writing.

So I recently rewatched season one of OBX again and this plot was made up rather quickly. I actually love the characters I've created so much, and the premise of Theo's storytelling throughout has been fun with the parts I've written so far.
I really hope you all enjoy this, I'm not sure how often it'll be updated but I'm quite motivated right now!
