"I TAKE BACK THE WORDS THAT I MISS YOU. To be honest, I have a girlfriend. I'm trash that was trying to have an affair with you. I apologize." Soo-ah said, finishing reading the message Jug-yeong had received from the guy she had a date with the night before. "What's with him?"

Kim Ji-an shook her head from her spot beside Soo-ah and squeezed Jug-yeong's shoulder reassuringly. "Don't be sad, Jug-yeong. He's not worth it. It's better that it happened this way instead of him leading you on more and then getting your heart broken. I'm sure you'll find someone a lot better than that guy."

Jug-yeong nodded still a little surprised by the turn of events, but if she was being honest she didn't care as much as she should about that guy dumping her. Since the start she hadn't been that keen about going. She only had agreed because Soo-ah had insisted on it.

"Did you get dumped?!" Han Seo-jun chuckled in disbelief his cat like eyes shining with amusement. Around him, his little group of friends laughed at his remark, the sound increasing when Seo-jun continued his teasing. "How can you get rejected that easily? How long did it last? A day?"

Kim Ji-an suppressed her eye roll as she turned to her fake boyfriend with irritation. His attention had already been on her as if he had anticipated a retort from her the second he finished his sentence. "How can you be so noisy? This is non of your business Han Seo-jun."

"Yeah, listen to your girlfriend." Soo-ah said giving the couple a look to not start an argument in front of the class. She didn't think I'll work given the two were equally as stubborn but miraculously it did, the couple turned away from the other like a little kid would after getting told they couldn't play with their toy anymore. After all, they had a facade to maintain—which they were pretty much failing at keeping. The one person they had to convince wasn't believing one single bit of their act.

Once school was over the group consisting of Soo-ah, Soo-jin, Tae-hoon, Jug-yeong, and
Ji-an made their way to the usual spot they went to study. It was a nice cozy place provided for study groups. Ji-an had immensely missed this place while in Miami. Online school did not provide this type of experiences. The moment the went i nside the group of five froze on their spots, all of their eyes settled on Lee Su-ho who was sitting at one of the tables. Previously, Soo-jin and Soo-ah had told Ji-an about having asked Su-ho to join them in their study sessions. The pair had told her that he hadn't accepted so Ji-an was confused to see him there.

Sharing the same confusion, Soo-jin spoke, "What's are you doing? You said you don't do study groups."

Lee Su-ho stopped writing on his notebook looking at the group with his usual cold expression. His eyes lingering on Ji-an a little longer than necessary which did not went unnoticed by the girl. "I said I don't want to, but never said I wouldn't do it".
