"So- you're telling me, that this friend of yours is trying to become so powerful, nobody will be able to stop him?"

Beck nodded while that Punk Spiderman carried them on his back, swinging effortlessly from building to building. "Yes- I-I think he wants to take revenge on our earth's Spiderman... I-I can't let him do that! We- we've already lost one, I can't let him harm the one who's singlehandedly keeping Brooklyn safe!"

He sighed "And you think you can have him not do that?"

"Well... I don't know if I can... but I'm sure as hell going to try!"

Spiderpunk chuckled, he couldn't tell if Beck was bonkers, or just extremely determined "Heh, I like your style, now hold tight, we're getting close to Alchemax!" he said, launching a web to the tallest building around and swinging up to it, kicking the window and breaking it.

Beck screamed a bit, trying not to get hit by glass shards as Spiderpunk essentially deployed them on the ground.
They frantically looked around, following him as Alchemax scientists fled left and right.

"By the way-" Beck began, still keeping up with Spiderpunk "What's your name?"

The man snorted at the artist's boldness "You really think I'm gonna tell you my secret identity?"

"Well- Yeah? You're not from my earth, so what's the big deal? It's not like imma go there and tell everyone who you are- honestly, I've had enough of interdimensional travels for my life, so... can I?" they ask again, grinning.

He couldn't help but smile under his mask; the way Beck spoke their mind so honestly resonated with him, so he shrugged "It's Hobie, Hobie Brown"

"I'm Beck!" they cheerfully replied, the collider room drawing more and more near.
Beck could already see someone inside... more Spider people! One of them was undoubtedly their earth's Spiderman, with his signature black and red suit, but for the other two... they'd never seen them before. They seemed to be stuck behind an odd force field, and beyond said force field, stood Johnathon.
Beck felt their heart tighten, they couldn't believe how horribly things had gone in less than 24 hours.

"Alright, Beck, brace for impact, things are gonna get loud here!" Hobie suddenly shouted, taking a guitar pick out of his pocket and jumping into the room; he struck the chords of his electric guitar, the sound and energy reverberating from it powerfully enough to destabilize the barrier.
All the spider people seemed happy to see Hobie, but Beck had no time for stopping and saying hi.

They ran past them and jumped over one of the massive desks "JOHN!!"

The man flinched, seeing his friend there  "What- what are you doing here?! Are you just- that terrible at listening to what I tell you to do? I told you to stay put!"

"I've never been great at following orders" Beck replied, standing confidently "Especially not when someone I know is trying to hurt people!"

"Hurt... people?" Johnathon didn't seem to understand "And what about the people who hurt ME?!" he suddenly shouted, dark matter glitching around him as he grew angrier.

"Just because people hurt you, doesn't mean you have the right to hurt others back! The people from this universe didn't do nothing to you! But you're still going through with this mad plan, knowing full well if this collider explodes, it's going to hurt so many!" Beck gritted their teeth, raising their voice back.

A small 'Dramaaa' flew out of Pavitr's mouth, hearing the two argue.

Johnathon remained speechless for a couple seconds "You..." his voice noticeably went deeper "I see now, what game you're playing... you're trying to hold me back- do you WANT me to keep being miserable?!"
