"Timmy, I have a surprise for you!" I called. The kitten was so small I couldn't wait to see him in Timothée's big hands.

I'd seen a lady selling them and this little one spoke to me, probably because he had eyes similar to Timothée's. I couldn't leave him there.

I hoped Timothée wouldn't be mad. I didn't think he would be, but I was still a little nervous.

"What?" He asked, entering the room with sparkling eyes.

"Look!" I held up the small kitten to him.

"Holy fuck!" He said with wide eyes. "Sorry I shouldn't curse in front of babies."

"He's a kitty Timmy," I chuckled.

"Where did he come from?" He asked as he took the small creature from me.

"I adopted him, he's only two months old," I said.

"You adopted him?" He asked.

"You look like that doe eyes emoji right now," I giggled.

"I love him! I'm so glad you got him."

"I picked him because his eyes look like yours," I smiled.

"This situation couldn't get any more adorable," he said, cradling the sleeping kitty.

"Just wait, I named him Yule," I told him.

"Ahhhhh, I'm gonna die of cuteness," he said and kissed me deeply.
