Harry was sitting in the courtyard, reading The Standard Book Of Spells when a certain blond, frenemy of his walked over to him.
"Potter." He spat, covering his side with his robes.
"Malfoy. What do you want?" He responded, not looking up from his book.
"To give you this." Draco answered, taking a piece of paper from the side of his robe and gifting it to Harry.
He looked at it for a moment, then back to Draco, then again towards the paper.
"It's not cursed right?" Harry asked, hestitant on opening it.
"It's not cursed." Draco said.
Harry smiled a bit and unfolded the paper. Inside it said a simple four words, "I love you Potter." Harry looked up at Draco and grabbed the pen he had beside him. He flipped over the paper and wrote a simple five words, "I love you too Malfoy." and folded it back up. He handed it to Draco and gestured for him to sit down. They were talking. After a few moments of very needed small talk, they started talking about what they were and who they wanted to tell. Pansy was constantly all over Draco, he needed an excuse to get her away. And Ginny was clearly in love with Harry, he wanted to let her down easily.
"Will you be my boyfriend, Potter?" Draco asked.
Harry didn't answer with words, he smiled and nodded.
"Just don't make fun of my friends anymore." Harry said, grabbing his books and walking away.
