Very soon, the exams started as Kuro gave every exam. And with every exam, one thing was clear. Aizawa's gaze was getting harder and harder on a student with every exam passing.

Aizawa: Stop writing! The last person in each row, collect the papers of the row and bring them here.

Ashido: Thanks, Yaomomo!

Kaminari: I didn't leave anything blank atleast!

Aizawa: Tomorrow, the practical exams will begin! You all can go now, except you, Yagi.

Aizawa was glaring at the boy.

Aizawa: We need to have a chat...

The students had all gone as Kuro was sitting opposite to Aizawa.

Aizawa: So... why are you doing this?

Kuro: Hmm?

Aizawa: You were 6th in the mid-terms. But here, you are barely passing, even failing in some subjects. What's the meaning of this? 

Kuro: *smiling* I might just be slacking off, sorry. Hehe.

In an instant, the underground hero knew that this smile was as fake as it gets. Aizawa's scarf wrapped around Kuro, as he glared at the boy, his eyes glowing red.

Aizawa: Tell me the truth. Now!

Kuro: ... you know about the nightmares, right?

Aizawa: Hmm?

His grip on the scarf, and eventually, Kuro lightened a bit.

Kuro: The nightmares... they're keeping me paranoid... I've been taking prescriptions, but they're still there... I'm sorry...

Aizawa: ... *sigh*

The man rubs his temples as he lets go of Kuro.

Aizawa: Listen... if you fail the tests, purposely or not, you won't be going to the training camp.

Kuro: I know...

Aizawa: Do your best in the practical exam... I hope to see you at the camp.

Kuro: ...
