"Hey Trisha! Wait up!" Sakuran shouted down the sidewalk as he ran to his best friend who had totally given up on waiting for him outside his house. "Hey I'm not the one who took too long. We are supposed to walk to school together, like we have for years." Trisha responded sarcastically, not stopping to wait for him, flipping her long blond hair behind her mockingly. "Well if Subarashi wasn't late I would've been out here on time so, not my fault." Sakuran said dramatically, shrugging his shoulders. "Sure, blame your own brother." Trisha teased. "Yea well, brother or not he's annoying as shi-" Sakuran commented. " Don't dare finish that sentence." Trisha warned, narrowing her eyes. "Well it's true!" Sakuran complained while he kicked a stray pebble into the road. "That doesn't mean you can say it!" Trisha exaggerated. "Whatever." Sakuran rolled his silver-y blue eyes.
"Totally not okay dude." Trisha's older brother commented as he appeared beside them. "What the hell man! Stop just showing up randomly, it's creepy!" Sakuran exclaimed. Jacob was a grade older than his sister and the twins. He was taller too, not much taller than Subarashi, as he was taller than Sakuran, unusual as it was for twins, especially identical twins to be different heights but Sakuran's medicinal pills had a side effect that stunted his growth slightly. With Jacob standing at roughly 5' 7 followed closely by Subarashi standing at about 5' 6 ¼" Sakuran and Trisha being the shortest of the four at 5' 5 ¾" and 5' 5". "Actually where is your brother Jisei?" Jacob asked. "He's late." Trisha replied. "What?! You mean to tell me the infamously perfect student Subarashi Jisei, is late to school?!" Unbelievable, I call BS!" Jacob exclaimed, not convinced. "It's true, he stayed up too late studying." Sakuran scoffed, rolling his eyes in the process. Jacob burst out laughing, "Damn he really is a nerd." Trisha was quiet, but a light blush was dusting her cheeks. "Wait you- Trisha are you blushing?!" Jacob asked. "Dude looks like even your best friend couldn't resist the popular kid charm!" He teased. Sakuran remained quiet. "I mean maybe if you were more like him you could get some girls too." Jacob persisted. Sakuran just clenched his jaw in annoyance, he wasn't exactly happy about the fact that his best friend was crushing on his brother, his brother of all people. "I mean come one, at least one of you got the brains, maybe you should learn from him. You might even find some basic common sense." Jacob got no reply other than a glare and a few unintelligible words he couldn't quite make out. "Bet you only wish you could dream about being perfect like him." Jacob pushed. "You know I hate that word." Sakuran mumbled under his breath, gritting his teeth. "Damn, Subarashi would've had the decency to reply when spoken to. Who knew identical twins could be so different?" Jacob spoke harshly. "Jacob, stop." Trisha pleaded, she couldn't bear to see her friend mistreated like that, even if this was just normal behavior for Jacob. "You fucking twerp."Jacob grabbed Sakuran's blue, dyed hair, pulling his head back to look him in the eye, being a year older and a bit taller than a small-for-his-age twink like Sakuran. "Shut. Up." Sakuran spat. Jacob slapped him across the face, "That'll teach you to disrespect your higher-ups." he snickered, overestimating himself like always.
"Go fuck yourself." That earned him another slap from the overconfident jerk. "Jacob, don't!" Trisha warned again. "I do as I please." Jacob let Sakuran's hair go briefly before landing a weak punch to his left cheek, throwing him to the ground. "Let's go." He commanded and turned to drag a terrified Trisha to school. "Sakuran." She mumbled as a sort of apology, praying her brother would leave him alone.
"Silence Him."
The voice commanded, the voice Sakuran thought he was rid of, the voice that came from no one, the voice he couldn't ignore. Sakuran jumped up with a rush of energy and charged at Jacob tackling him and turning him on his back, his left hand gripping the collar of his uniform, the other balled up and wound back for a punch; he hesitated. "What? Tring to fight back? You can't hurt me, twerp." Jacob spat, an evil smirk sprawled on his face. "Silence. Him." Sakuran snapped and repeatedly bashed Jacobs face in with his fist, breaking his nose and jamming it up into his skull, stabbing his brain; an easy way to disable an enemy, being that it is fatal. Blinded by rage, numbed by the thrill, deafened by the voice he couldn't ignore. Blood splattered everywhere, covering his fist. He didn't notice when a crowd had gathered, he didn't notice the camera flashes, he didn't notice the sirens or the lights. "Permanently." He managed to use more force than before, the boy below him screamed but Sakuran just kept going, the fear of the voice mixing with the pure thrill of blood urging him on. Sakuran laughed hysterically, something you'd expect to hear from a psychopath, not a 15 year old student. Suddenly he was restrained and pulled off Jacob, his blood covered body went limp in the officer's arms as he stared at the lifeless body on the sidewalk, Jacob's former face was completely caved in, his skull was crushed, mashed against the sidewalk pavement. He laughed, harder than before. His eyes were wild, the rush flowed through his veins. His vision blurred. Then the world went dark.
