It's quite as Ria enters her lab the TARDIS has made for her. The Doctor and Rose are on a date while she is going to work on creating a hoverboard she's been anxious to make for a while now.
"MAC, you awake." Ria asks, setting down her coffee cup the Tardis brewed for her.
"For you Miss, always." She walks up to the computer on the wall and pulls up the blueprints for the hoverboard.

"Alright MAC. Play my playlist." Ria asks as she grabs the parts the Tardis has provided for her.
"Yes. Miss." We Built This City begins to play as MAC speaks.
"Shall I keep an eye on the Doctor and Miss Tyler, Miss?"
"By all means, go ahead." She starts to gather the items she needs to build the board when the TARDIS hums.
"It seems there is something she wants you to find Miss. She seems very excited." Ria sighs and removes her mask. She slips on her glasses and leaves her lab.
"We built this city on rock and roll..."
Ria sings as she heads down the hallway. MAC alerts her that the Doctor and Rose are heading for a hospital, the Doctor being paged. She leaves the TARDIS and spots a small marketplace. Assuming that's where the TARDIS is sending her, she heads that way. As Ria looks around, she spots a familiar face, the phoenix girl.

The girl grabs Ria's hand, and drags her towards an alleyway. Sitting in the alleyway is a black wolf. Ria holds the phoenix girl back, as the wolf changes to a young man with brown hair, and brown eyes. He looks to Ria, who feels a connection with him. She blushes as he approaches them slowly, as to not scare them, also feeling the connection.
"Hi. I'm Finlay."
"I'm Astoria." The girl giggles at the two, amused at their shyness. "How did you change like that?"
"What like this?" He quickly changes to a pine marten and back. "I'm a mutant. I can turn into almost any animal. You?"
"I am a new mutant. I have Phoenix powers." Fin nods, and Ria starts to walk backwards towards the Tardis.
"I should be getting back before my friends forget me."
"Who can forget you, My Shining Star." Fin states, flirting. Ria blushes, and stutters, finally turning and heading for the Tardis. Fin follows her in amusment, the girl vanishing to explore the universe, her job done for now. Ria re-enters the Tardis.
"I'm a companion turned permanent resident, not your errand girl." Ria glares at the Tardis' console. The TARDIS hums amused as Fin enters as a black cat, and he hops onto the console, mindful of the buttons and levers.
"She's called the TARDIS. That's Time And Relative Dimension In Space. Ugh I sound like the Doctor." Ria facepalms. Fin meows in amusment. Ria nods, and then decides to finish her hoverboard.

Fin follows Ria into her lab. Ria continues building the hoverboard with Fin watching her.
"Miss. It seems Miss Tyler has become possessed."
"I can't go one day without something happening to those two." Ria shakes her head as Fin laughs from his chair, back to his human form.
"Seems like trouble magnets."
"You're telling me. I meet Rose in a hostage situation, and the Doctor later after he blew up Rose's job."
"He make a habit of that?" Fin asks.
"I hope not." Ria sighs, finishing up the board, and moving on to the programming.
"Miss it seems the Doctor and Miss Tyler are being pursued by zombies."
"What is this? Scooby Doo meets Minecraft?" Ria wonders. Fin shrugs.
"While I wait for MAC to finish the programming, let's show you around properly." Ria gives a tour of the Tardis, and is almost done with the main rooms when she hears a familiar voice in her head.
'Hello little agent. I have a message for you. We shall meet again, for the third time, for the last time, and the truth shall be told. Until that day....' The voice disappears, and Ria sighs. Fin turns into a pine marten, and climbs up to nuzzle her chin from her shoulder. She smirks, and pets him.
"It seems both the Doctor and Rose are on their way back with what appears to be Cassandra Miss."
Ria growls, her hair changing colors unknowingly to her. "Cassandra! That scum? How is she still alive?" Ria heads for the console room, her hair returning to blonde. She reaches the console room and spies the Doctor piloting the TARDIS as Rose and a male alien stand against the railing, Rose holding him up. Ria stays back as the TARDIS lands Rose and the Doctor lead "Cassandra" out of the TARDIS and she decides to head back to her lab to finish her hoverboard.

She enters her lab, and Fin remains as a pine marten, not knowing if he will be allowed on the Tardis. A few minutes later Rose enters and looks to Ria silently, wringing her hands. Ria looks up and back to her hoverboard, picking it up for a test drive..
"What's up Pinkie?" Rose smiles and approaches Ria.
"I wanted to tell you what you missed."
"I already know. MAC told me."
"He told you I kissed the Doctor then?" Ria pauses from standing on the hoverboard and looks up at the ceiling.
"He didn't tell me that."
"It wasn't her who was in control Miss. I figured it wasn't a big deal."
Ria nods, and goes back to focusing on the hoverboard.
"Why should I be worried Rose? I only see the Doctor as an annoying friend/brother." Rose sighs in relief.
"I thought you liked him.
"Nope." Ria soothes, having MAC start the hoverboard she floats upwards, trying to keep her balance. Fin hangs on tightly to her shirt, as Rose watches in awe, and concern. The board begins flickering, and crashes to the ground. Ria lands on her butt, alright. She glares at the hoverboard, and sighs.
"Back to the drawing board." She picks up the board, and places it on the table as the Doctor enters. Rose spots Fin, and coos.
"He's so adorable. Who is he?" Fin, still in pine marten form, smirks. Ria rolls her eyes.
"This is Finlay. I found him outside wandering around. Decided to keep him around." The Doctor nods, but looks at him intently.
"Alright. He can stay. Just keep an eye on him." Both Rose and Ria nod.
