Clara couldn't believe it. Her guiding star was no longer hers.
All those dreamy days and sleepless nights she had spent wishing and hoping were all in vain. She had felt heartbreak before but this was different. It felt as if a part of her had been ripped away. Taken from Clara's heart before she could register it.
She had known what it meant to burn and now she knew what it was to freeze.
Maybe she was Icarus. Letting ambition and dreams fuel her then letting those same things destroy her. How close to the sun Clara flew and how far she has yet to fall.
Falling.
Falling.
Falling.
Clara now knows the love she held for her boy with the dragon necklace was only the type meant for star-crossed lovers.
Clara has fallen from grace and there is no true salvation for her.
