11: Hired help! not really hired though

"What?" I asked. I still hated this gut.

He took a breath and told me, "I'll help you in breaking your siblings out."

My eyes widened a bit. Why would he help me? The reason I'm even in this situation is him. If only I never met him.

"Why?"

"Because I am a good person." He told me. Good person, huh? Not from what I've seen. "And I want to prove to you that I'm sorry."

I want to let him help me because more help the better. But I don't want to after he had betrayed me. I mean, yes it was years ago.. but if I never met him I'd have a happy life with my siblings. We would be in school with friends. We could eat and use the bathroom whenever we wanted.

I was doubting him. But the he gave me a great idea, "I still have a key card."

"Huh? No. They moved laboratory's. You have the key for the old lab." I told him. I thought he was smart..

"I mean what I said." He told me. Not  breaking eye contact. "I have a key card."

I looked at him confused, with my head tilted.

"Just because they switch lab's doesn't mean they switch companies. I still have the key card and it should get us in." He told me. and for further proof he handed me the key card.

I analyzed it a bit. It had a barcode and his picture on it. But most importantly, it had words in fine print. It said, 'unlimited pass '.

"The unlimited pass grants me the power to go anywhere." Alec explained after seeing me stare at it for long periods of time.

I looked up at him. "I have a plan."

"And I'm listening."

I looked at him. Was I really going to let him join me on this plan..? But he's my only hope. If he betrays me again, he's getting it. And when I meant 'getting it' I mean he's getting more than death.

"Alright. So I'll create a diversion that distracts them outside.. like I'll make something that looks like me. I want you to use the lab coat you kept from the day you escaped and go through the back door." I explained. "I want you to secretly get out any Krew member or any experiment in general."

"Krew member?" Alec asked.

I shrugged, " it's what we call ourselves."

"And what will you do?" He asked.

I looked at him, "same as you."

He nodded.

We decided that we needed to prep. One week later was go time. One week until we rescue our siblings. One week until everything we've been through is over and officially our past.

Flashback over

Yep. Makes sense now right? Still can't believe I trusted him.. but so far everything is going fine.

Just then, the collar they made me wear had wore off. It said, "Powers Enabled."

Was that supposed to happen? I'm getting flashbacks of when I escaped.  But the thing is, I don't think that was supposed to happen because Felicia and Brittney looked at each other before looking at me. Their faces where shocked.

"Wasn't supposed to happen, huh?" I asked.

The door was still opened and some people came in.. of course not any people.

But my siblings came. But so did Alec and a girl with black hair and red eyes. Who was she? Oh well.

I knew what was going to happen..

A final boss fight.

Then after that, this story is over!! No second book because experiment AUs are very hard to make. LOL
