Chapter Twenty Three
She felt different

7 February 2014

It's been a week since the altercation with Aurora and Amor, the group hasn't been the same, they try to carry on but all that's on their minds was Aurora.

Meanwhile Aurora had been enjoying herself, her aunt didn't have a problem with her leaving the house anymore since she was in the right state of mind.

Aurora had actually made a new friend, Alicia.

"Rora, can we go to this carnival tonight?" Alicia asked Aurora showing her a picture of the carnival as they sat and ate Canes.

"Yeah, i havent been to one in a few years." Aurora agreed.

"Yay." Alicia happily cheered causing Aurora to smile.

Aurora felt happy to be her normal self again.

She was just hoping she wouldn't fall back anytime soon.

"What?" Alicia questioned noticing Aurora staring at her.

"You're very pretty." Aurora complimented.

"Oh thank you." Alicia shyly said as a light blush colour formed.

"So how are things with your boyfriend?" Aurora asked.

"Oh it's great, he spoils me alot, and he honestly makes me feel so special, he gave me his passward to everything and showed me hes faithful to me and only me." Alicia said as her eyes lit up.

"I'm happy for you." Rora genuinely said.

"Thank you, we need to find you a boyfriend, or a girlfriend not sure how you're rolling." Alicia said not wanting to assume her sexuality.

"I'm straight." Aurora said lightly laughing at her nervousness.

"You don't have to be so nervous around me." She said.

"I know but it's just something about you that makes me nervous." Alicia said honestly.

"Gonna have to get you out of that." Rora laughed eating some of her fries.

"Yeah some time I'll come around." Alicia said as her phone dinged.

"Who's that?" Aurora questioned seeing her text on her phone.

"It's Marquise, he's wondering where i am." Alicia answered.

"Oh does he need you?" Aurora asked not wanting to keep her away from her boyfriend.

"No but he said he's gonna be at his friends place, and wants us to go there once we're done here." Alicia told her placing her phone down.

"Oh okay, sure." Aurora agreed nodding her head as they continued to eat.

"Yo Trell you good?" Booka asked seeing him zoned out.

"Why would I be?" Kentrell questioned bluntly.

He was missing Rora real bad, hell everyone was.

"Yo where's Von, we ain't seen him in 4 days." T.Roy spoke up.

"Shit prolly in his room being depressed like the rest of us." Shiesty said sighing heavily.

"Are yall mad at me?" Amor asked softly.

"I don't know how i feel I just want her back." Melly said standing up and leaving.

"Guys it's not healthy to be like this, us being depressed is not gonna make her remember us." Becky said honestly.

"She's right yo, but that doesn't mean forget her, she'll hopefully come around some time." Muwop said.

"Yo wassup." Marquise greeted them.

"Oh wassup Quise." Shiesty greeted dapping him up as the rest of the guys sent him a head nod.

"My girl and her friend finna pull up when they done eating." Quise said sitting down on an empty seat.

"Oh okay, more girls." Kayla said trying to be happy.

"What are their names?" Lisa asked him.

"Alicia and shit I forgot her name, it starts with an A but Licia calls her Rora." He said causing Durk to raise his eyebrows.

"Aurora?" He questioned causing them all to look at Marquise.

"Shit yeah." Quise said chuckling at how he didn't know that.

"How she look like?" Trell questioned sitting up from his slouching position.

"Brown, curly hair, violet eyes, ion know if they contacts or not bu-"

"It's Rora." India said softly smiling.

"Yall know her?" Quise asked confused.

"Yeah some like that." Ben said.

The group conversed with each other until a car pulled up to the house a while after.

"Rora wake up." Alicia softly said lightly shaking the female beside her.

Auroras eyes fluttered open, looking around she took notice of the familiar place before her eyes landed on the group of people.

Auroras face fell flat as she replayed the altercation.

"Aurora are you okay?" Alicia asked noticing her facial expression.

"I don't wanna be here." She mumbled.

"Do you know them?" Alicia questioned furrowing her eyebrows.

"Only one but apparently I know them all." Aurora said shrugging.

"Okay we can leave." Alicia said about to start the car back up.

"No it's fine." Aurora sighed as she exited out the car.

Alicia smiled, stepping out as well grabbing a hold of Auroras hand, as the two walked up to the group who's eyes were all ready locked on the two.

Aurora averted her attention to the ground beneath wondering if she really wanted to be here.

It just didn't feel right.

It felt like something was missing.

She felt like she didn't belong.

She felt different.
