Thou came to me as a boon,
But I realized it was a bane , soon.
To understand you, I had no science;
Mesmerized me with your lines.
Gave me vows and a white gown, lies I couldn't see;
You ringed me, and wronged me.
Disgust is all I have for you, my dear;
Pity all who trust you, for disaster may near.
All the promises, all the trust;
Regret everything, you must.
Love for thou vanished into thin air;
The traps I fell for, I was left bare.
I will not sink into melancholy,
Though I committed the folly.
