A WHOLE MONTH HAD PASSED SINCE HE'D BEFRIENDED A GHOST.

she had come to remember a few more things, most of which weren't really important. and minho hadn't found anything new in the maze.

it truly discouraged him but he knew he couldn't give up. the girl also helped encourage him. minho truly relied on her for him to keep going.

having her there in the maze with him everyday helped. minho never got tired of her, even when she teased him.

hopefully the girl would never get tired of minho. he was the only person she could talk to, did she ever get bored of him?

sometimes those questions passes through his head, they might've been stupid sure but he was curious about it. she never did tell him how she felt, ever.

the ground shook, knocking him out of his head. yet another day of running. when the doors fully opened there she stood like always.

that alone lifted his mood and took away his drowsiness. he jogged into the maze, the girl following him.

when there was no sight of another human they started speaking. the usual about how minho had spent his night, or if the girl had done anything remotely interesting.

"oh yeah...I remembered something else."
the girl said.

it was probably the usual, remembering the sky or some foods. minho didn't care if they were boring, he enjoyed hearing about it.

"yeah? what food did you remember this time?"
minho said teasingly.

"do you classify as food?"
she said deadpanning.

minho quickly stopped I'm his tracks and turned to face the girl.

"you...remember me?"
he said, mouth agape.

the girl sighed and continued to speak.

"mhmm but I only saw for a split second. you looked much younger too."
the ghost girl spoke.

this was huge. so they had met before, when she was...alive. he was glad, they had crossed paths. the boy smiled at her.

"so we knew eachother?"
his tone came out a bit exited.

"I don't know if we were friends or anything like that but we had definitely met."
she said sending him a warm smile.

"who would've thought..."
he said trailing off.

if only he could remember the girl, was she always as pretty as she was now? he wanted to remember her so badly as well. well he just wanted to remember.

was that why he had dreamt of her? because they had met?

hopefully someday he'd remember, until then he'd have to look forward to it.
