Lucy's pov

Remia is very silent. I mean I get she can't talk and all, but even her footsteps and movements were quiet, it was a little unnerving.

She walked at the back of the group, carrying Daphne like she was a teddy bear, or a doll. Occasionally Daph would whisper something to Remia and she shook or nodded her head accordingly. But, for the most part, she kept her eyes on the road before her.

Before we knew it, we arrived at the train station.

"God Dammit," Natsu muttered before Erza shoved him inside. Remia hesitated for a moment before she stepped on as well.

The train started moving and Natsu started groaning, turned green and sickly, and threw up a few times. I looked at Remia, who was seated next to me. Her hands were pressed to her temples and she didn't look too hot herself. Daphne was patting her arm.

"You ok Remia?" Gray asked before I got a chance to.

"She just gets a little motion sick is all." Daphne said.

"Yeah, that kind of comes with being a dragon slayer," Erza says, gesturing towards Natsu.

Remia curled into a ball and shoved her head in between her knees. Daphne sat next to her and fell asleep. Soft snores followed.

"Poor girl, I can't imagine what she's been through. " I say. Mumbles came from Natsu before he threw up again.

"Well, at least we can offer her our protection," Gray inputs.

"Maybe she could join the guild! We could help her search for her brother!" Wendy exclaimed.

"thats a great idea Wendy!" Happy says.

"It would be, but I get queasy feelings about her," Carla says.

"I have to agree with Carla, somethings strange, like there's a lot they are hiding."

"Well, I think they have reasons to hide, I mean, Remia can't even talk. The best thing we can do is be there for her, and maybe she'll trust us enough to let us help her," I say and the others agreed.

Half an hour later we rolled into town. We woke up Remia and Daphne, then hauled Natsu out of the train. He howled his praise once we set foot on unmoving ground, then we set off towards the guild.

I noticed Remia admiring things in store windows. She was discreet about it mostly, but sometimes her eyes would linger too long and she showed wonder and excitement. Her eyes widened and sparkled at the new things she was seeing. I couldn't help but smile at her.

"Hey everybody! We're back!" Natsu yells, pushing open the doors and stepping foot inside the guild.

"Hey!" people inside chorused.

As we walked deeper inside, I prayed that no one would start a fight, I'm not sure how Remia would take it. It could be quite overwhelming.

I felt someone's hands around my waist so I turned to get a look at who it was. It was Remia, who was using me as a hiding place.

"She's never been a people person." Daphne explains, "Not that she's really had people to interact with."

"Excuse me! Has anyone seen Levy around?" Erza announces.

"She just left on a mission! she should be back in a day or two," Macao said.

"What about master than? I have someone he might want to meet," Erza says flashing a smile towards Remia.

"Upstairs"

"Alright, thanks Mocao. Remia, come with me," Erza holds out her hand. Remia hesitantly comes out from behind me and takes Erza's hand. She holds Daphne close and keeps her eyes on the floor.
