Ahru had been ignoring Taehyung lately . Taehyung thought they were getting along well as they rarely fought these days ,but sudden change in her behaviour made him confuse. He thought about giving her time as she seemed troubled from that day on.

He noticed she barely ate for the past two days. He had noticed how lights were always on in her bedroom too. He noticed how she seemed a bit exhausted although she tried to pretend that she was doing fine . But deep down he knew she was not , either way he was not going to ask her what was the reason that she looked so bothered lately.

It was almost lunch time and Taehyung was hungry after all the work at his company. Coming to the kitchen area ,he was surprised to find Sehun along with Ahru. Sehun was cutting the vegetables for the soup and Ahru was nagging him about how Sehun need to be careful while using knives. A bottle of soju standing right infront of her and she poured something into her shot glass , chugging it down directly afterwards.

Taehyung couldn't help but frowned as he took the seat next to standing Sehun. Confusion flooding in his entire system as he tried to remember when he had seen Ahru drinking.(what's bothering her?).

As he sat down Ahru became silent and Taehyung saw how Sehun looked confused at sudden silence which took over the kitchen. He was about to question her but her phone rang breaking the silence off and Ahru went outside the kitchen to answer it , completely ignoring Taehyung's presence.

" Something is bothering her don't you think??" Sehun mumbled staring at the disappearing figure. Taehyung just hummed to his sentence as he wondered about the reason.

" Hello who is this..??"Ahru spoke as soon as she entered in her bedroom ,closing the door behind praising herself mentally for ignoring Taehyung again. She couldn't help but started ignoring him for days now.

" Miss Ahru, hello . This is investigator Yoo Reha, I was wondering if you would be willing to answer some questions regarding to Park
Chanyeol. The name took her attention as soon as it left from mouth of the investigator, momentarily forgetting about Taehyung . And she fell silent for a while. Confusion written on her face, eyebrows furrowed as she tried to understand the situation.

" I am sorry, but may I ask why are you investigating the case which had been closed many days ago? I didn't appeal to reopen it and--"her sentence got cut off by the person on the next line.

" Please, I am afraid, I have been working it on from the past three months and I am still trying to investigate every lead possible." Yoo Reha pleaded assertively." I just wanted to know him better and I am sorry for dragging you into this mess but I need your help because he was very close to you."

"MESS-??" There was a silence on Ahru's side but she was still on the line. She was confused so damn confused. Why it was happening now. She didn't know why this person was invistigating the case which had been closed a year ago. She was the one who closed it for everyone's good . She didn't wanted anyone specially Baek to know who killed her love of life.

" Miss Lee-??" Investigator Yoo spoke when she didn't get any reply she thought the line had been cutt off.

" Let me text you the address we'll meet there in an hour "After contemplating a lot Ahru spoke with whispered tone .

" Thank you very much , Dr. Lee."

After she cut the call , investigation about Chanyeol won't let Ahru's mind rest. Her imagination was buzzing with possibilities but before she could formulate a hypothesis there were a few things she needed to figure out about the case and for that she needed to hurry up.
