Leia Sunshine and the Bandits of the Avenue, another childhood series, is in iamhannahk. Check her out!!! :-D
File 1: The Secret at Vol View Hotel. Dark Horse.
Leia and the rest couldn't sleep, so they decided to stroll outside. "Let's do some sleuthing!" Leia invited. Ann and Faye shook their head. "Today's enough sleuthing even for me!" Ann said, making them laugh. "How about some sightseeing at the stable for horses?" Faye invited. "Game!" Leia and Ann replied. They walked down a narrow dirt road to the stable.
"Hi, Precious!" Faye said, talking to a light brown horse. "Looks like Man George the horse ate a lot of apples today!" Ann said, patting a brown horse on the head. Leia looked a dark brown horse with pleading eyes. "Don't worry, Nelly. I'll ride you first thing tomorrow," said Leia. The horse seemed to understand because it neighed. Later on they left.
"Oh, wait!" Faye exclaimed, realizing she was left behind. She was putting powder on her face. When she turned around to follow, she accidentally spilled some powder on the face of a horse. The steed galloped towards the farther inside of the large stable. Then the rest of the horses panicked. Each galloped in different directions. Leia and Ann turned their heads. "Faye!" Ann and Leia exclaimed, noticing the mayhem behind them. "Sorry," replied Faye, running to the stable. Leia and Ann followed.
"Calm down!" they kept on telling the horses. Suddenly Nelly, who was at the back, jumped up. The young horse hit a shelf with paint. Red, blue, and yellow paint got splashed on Precious and Man George, while 3 paint buckets completely covered Nelly in black paint.
Soon all the horses were settled. Ann was doing a headcount, while Faye and Leia fed the horses with apples from a tree to calm them down. "6, 7, 8, 9, where's 10? Where's Nelly?" Ann asked. "Hmm, I don't remember a black horse here," said Faye. "Faye, I don't remember seeing a black one here either - wait a minute! That's Nelly!" Leia exclaimed. They laughed. "Faye, keep guard. Ann and I'll clean this three colored horses up," Leia ordered. Faye shook her head. "Stay alone guarding the horses in the dark night? No way! Ann, you guard. I'll help Leia clean," Faye said. Ann shrugged. "Whatever."
Soon the horses were as good as newly bought. When they were fed and put back in the stable, Leia and Faye cleaned up the paint stains on the floor and wall. "There! Good as new!" Leia said, wiping her face with a handkerchief. The stable actually shined. After saying goodbye to the horses, they went down the dirt road i to their hotel room.
Faye jumped on her bed, then spread her arms sideways. Ann spanked her hands and Faye placed it on her lap. Ann hopped on the bed. Leia slept on a separate bed. "It's amazing that we always have an adventure even for an hour!" Faye said, sleeping directly after talking. "Yeah, sure is. G'night," said Ann, sleeping and snoring. Leia giggled, then turned off the main lights and turned on the lamp. "Snoring, eh? Good night indeed!" Leia replied, sleeping directly after turning off the lamp.

File 2: The Secret of the Yellow Hat. Meme me.
Leia just woke up the day after her date with Josh. Leia looked around her bedroom and saw no one. She stretched and scratched her hair. "Dandruff first thing in the morning? Ugh!" Leia thought while scratching her head. Suddenly she heard a click. She looked at her left and saw Faye and Ann hiding behind the closet. Faye showed her the picture, which showed her stretching while her hair was frizzy from scratching! "Delete that!" Leia demanded. "No!" Faye retorted playfully.
Ann, cellphone in hand, put her hand under her chin. "You know, Faye, what if we post this and make it a meme?!" Ann exclaimed. Leia was horrified and Faye gasped. "Let's!" Faye replied, running with Ann downstairs to the laptop. Leia ran downstairs and chased them. At the middle of the stairs, Leia jumped down, tackling Ann and Faye. "Ouch!" Faye said. "Oof!" Ann said. "Whoops!" Leia said. Ann, stronger than them, got out of the pile and ran, cellphone in hand. "Stop!" Leia ordered, chasing her.
In the middle of the chase, Leia stopped short and grinned. Ann left the gadget using room door open and tried to open the laptop. "Huh? Why wouldn't it turn on?" Ann said aloud. Leia continued smiling as she walked to Ann. "Remember our sleepover with Suzie, Greg's stepsister, last week? I LEFT my laptop charger there!" Leia exclaimed. Ann, fast as lightning, ran past Leia. Faye has just recovered from a blow on the head from the tackle and walked to Ann dizzily.
"C'mon, Faye! To Suzie's house!" Ann exclaimed, running out the door. Faye sighed, still exhausted from her tackle from Leia. "Just a minute!" Leia said to Faye, holding Faye's shoulders! She thrust her shoulder to her back and Faye fell down. Leia ran outside and chased Ann, who already turned down the next intersection.
Since it was early in the morning on a Saturday, not much people were out. But Leia, before going out of the gate, fixed her hair for a few seconds. Then she ran as fast as she dared. At first she thought she completely lost Ann but because of the stillness of the neighborhood, she heard Ann laughing heartily. "Gotcha!" Leia thought. She traced the sound. "Stop!" Leia said. Ann looked back and was shocked. She sprinted faster. Then, she realized she MUST lose Leia!
Dead ahead was a public playground, which pleased Ann. She went there, Leia at her heels. She ran past rectangular boxes behind the swing. Bird droppings, which were on the right side of the seesaw, was launched high into the air by Ann. The slide had a space wide enough for someone to go through underneath, so Ann clogged it with boxes. Lastly, she put a trash can at the other side of the slide.
Ann smiled, knowing this could stop Leia! She ran off. Leia, meanwhile, saw the obstacles. She hopped onto the boxes, landed riding on a swing, and aimed it to a bench. Zoom! She got off the swing and collided with the bench after "soaring" through the sky! From that point, she looks up. The droppings, stuck on a tree, looked like it was about to drip on her! Immediately she jumps to the sand box. Then she climbs the slide. She goes down the slide standing up! In the middle of the slide, she jumps down, missing the trash can by inches! Then, at the end of the park, was a slight slope, a few meters down. She ran down. The slope helped Leia run faster.
She noticed 2 blank discs, obviously the title stripped off, on the floor. She grabbed it. Then she ran until she reached another slope, a bit steeper and deeper. Then she put the discs under her slippers and slid down. After that, knowing this was the last slope to encounter before reaching Suzie's house, she left the discs on the floor. When she saw a simple two story house with a red flag on the roof, she knew this was Suzie's house! She saw the gate and door left open and entered at once. But...
Too late! Ann was already there, using her laptop! "I took your laptop along. Now!" Ann said to Leia without turning. Ann was in a room. Before Leia could run inside, Ann closed and locked the door. She could only pound on the door and look at Suzie and Ann through a small peephole in the wall. Suddenly she noticed Ann was having trouble. She knew Leia's password, she knew how to operate the system since she was a computer whiz, and she knew enough to maintain the laptop to have some battery. What could be wrong? Suddenly Leia smiled. "The photo! It's gone!" Ann exclaimed.
Faye arrived some seconds later, a little bird dropping on her head, and smelled awful in trash. Ann went outside. "Faye! Phew! You smell bad! And the picture, I didn't delete it! Did you?" Ann exclaimed. Faye looked guilty. "Faye?" Ann asked. Suzie just arrived from the room Ann was in and listened to the conversation. "Well, the app in MY phone which you used to take the picture was different. THAT app asks if the picture you took would be a reject or be saved. When you exit the app without saving the pic, it automatically means 'reject'. I guess you forgot to save it," said Faye. At first Ann looked like she was about to burst in anger, but then she smiled. "Well, we've learned our lesson, Faye. NEVER cross Leia Sunshine! In sleuthing and pranking, Leia ALWAYS wins!" Ann exclaimed, and all laughed merrily. "Lets have some sandwiches!" Suzie invited, and all ran to the kitchen.
