Moonbli after the war

The Festival

Qibli was standing on a small hill looking down at the festival. No Winter, no Turtle or Kinkajou Qibli sighed with relief that he couldn't see Sirocco or Rattlesnake. He turned to see that Moon had flown beside him, "Hi Moon" he said softly as he twined his tail with hers carefully. "Hey" she said back "remember that night in the sandwing fortress? When I told you 'no more prophecies or wars, just us" Qibli nodded and blushed a little as Moon went on "Remember how I told you I liked you, like a lot? And how I couldn't live without you?"

Qibli nodded again but this time instead of letting her go on, he interrupted and said "I know where this is going, now that you've spent almost three years with me, you take it all back. I get it, it's not like I was the most loved dragonet in the whole world. I'm ok with like, liking me is just fine! Way better than hating me, unless you do hate me now which would also be understandable" Qiblis mind was racing a million miles per hour, and Moon put a talon to her temples to ease the headache she was getting. "No, Qibli I was going to say that I want that to happen now." She looked him in the eye and took his talons in hers "Qibli, I want us to be a 'thing', without anything to stop us. Ok?" Qiblis mind slowed down to only one thought, and he said it too "I love you Moon" he whispered leaning into her "I love you too" she smiled leaning into Qibli

And then the fireworks happened, a gorgeous display of blue, green, purple, red, orange, yellow, purple, violet, and even brown filled the air. 

Moon and Qibli were sitting on the ledge with tails intertwined looking at the beautiful sight. When suddenly, three pairs of wings swooped down from behind them. "Moon!" An enthusiastic voice yelped from the air, Qibli quickly untwined their tails so that he wouldn't scratch Moon when the excitable Rainwing lept on her. "Qibli!" She gasped. Kinkajou started bouncing on her claws "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" She squealed "you're both alive!!!". Winter and Turtleswept down from the air and have Qibli a warm hug "I have so many questions" Qibli laughed "you're not the only one" smiled Winter "but first, is Lynx here?" Qibli laughed "she's at the hot dog stand" Winter lowered his voice so only him and Qibli could hear "I've sorta accepted that you and Moon are a good match, and I've been doing some meditation and therapy. After a bunch of thinking, I started growing a fondness for Lynx" Qibli smiled and winked "go get her" he said to Winter "right after you say hi to Moon" "oh right!" Winter laughed as he darted over to where kinkajou was bombarding Moon with questions Turtle walked over and smiled triumphantly "guess who has a girlfriend" he smiled "I don't know, who?" Qibli laughed, Turtle started pointing to himself and humming "oh wait, could it be you?" Qibli looked fake surprised

"Took you long enough" Turtle scoffed. Qibli laughed, in the distance Winter was talking to Lynx.

Qibli flew down to a jewelry stand and came back with a fabulous necklace that had a dark purple moon on it. He gave it to Moonwatcher.

Everything was going to be great
