But she's had her own share and due of 'stress.' She wasn't the accountant for nothing though, she had mastered stress management. Oh wait, why was she going through  this?

Research says that professionals thread through theory and random observations to cope. A professional, is that what she was? Yeah, she ticked all the boxes, maybe she was a professional.

Some professional she was... standing here, sipping coffee and doing nothing. Some accountant she was... some perfectionist she was... some fiancee she was...

"You're still here. Why are you still here?" An annoyingly familiar voice broke her triade.

"I am having a crisis Rishi" she quipped.

(Imagine VJS as Rishi)

"Why? The situation two days ago was a medical situation not a management situation, I mean the patients were all over the place, there must have been a rush in every department but still it was majorly a medical crisis. On top of that you have nothing to feel bad about.. You-" His trademarked spiral stopped. "This is not about the incident, is it?"

"Take a guess" She said with a sigh as she sipped in the last vestiges of her dear distrustful coffee.

"What is it about?" He asked as he flippantly sat down beside her.

She sighed.

"Is it about Veera? I have a hunch that this is about veera." And there it was. For all of Rishi's tendency to spiral, he'd never actually said a single wrong thing. His familiar habit oddly comforted her and she let his words wash over her.

"So... I take it he hasn't called you back yet!" Rishi stated as a matter of fact. Damn him! Damn her elusive boyfriend! Damn them all!

"Take a guess" this time she hisses. She's petty, sue her!

"Oooh.. so he did not! I actually think he's a pretty decent guy. He's cool, super resourceful. He's an agent-"

"He's a detective."

"I'm pretty sure he's undercover or double agent of some sort. He can't be just a detective. His hair is too cool to be just a detective. Also-"

"Rishi?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you fanboying?"

"Excuse you, I am a highly respected chief doctor. Fanboying is not in my anatomy."

"Sure"

She almost bickered. She would have if today was just another normal day, if.... veera was around, just a phone call away or even better within an arm's reach. He was always just there, to hold, be held, be silly, just exist together. They were extremely busy with their individual professions but they always had time for each other.

"Preethi" Rishi's voice reminded her of the reality, there was caution in his voice. "He'll call back, he'll come back. It will be okay. Couples don't have to be stuck at their hips. You know right... you've seen me and tara, right! Sometimes she goes days without ever calling me."
