Chap-29

He knew the words Jungkook was about to say, he was yearning for it but now he doesn't even have the courage to look into his eyes.

Several minutes passed and finally Taehyung came to the living room holding a cup of coffee in his hand. Jungkook gave him a sweet smile and was about to take the coffee from Taehyung but Taehyung tripped over the carpet and spilled the coffee on Jungkook. Taehyung's eye became bigger when Jungkook hissed in pain and he quickly apologized to Jungkook,

" I am so sorry Kookie,I didn't see.I am really sorry."

"It's okay baby.I am fine."

Jungkook assured Taehyung it was not his fault and Taehyung led him to his room to change his stained clothes. If only Taehyung knew what disaster it was about to bring in his life just because of his carelessness, he could have saved himself from Jungkook's wrath.

Jungkook came outside of the washroom wearing Taehyung's clothes and was humming happily ,too happy that the clothes smell like Taehyung. Jungkook was about to leave from the room but a blue file on the tea table caught his attention.

More like a paper inside the blue file. The top of the paper was hanging out of the file and it was written in bold letters " REPORT." Jungkook at first shrugged it off thinking it was Taehyung's patient's report but the name of the patient caught his attention. The name of the patient written was Kim Taehyung.

Curiosity got the best out of him and he was worried thinking what happened to Taehyung that he needed to see a doctor. Then the flashback of 5 days ago came to his mind and it made him more concerned. So he took out the paper and scanned through it. The date showed it was 3 years ago.

When Jungkook scanned the report further, his worried expression morphed into shock. He couldn't believe his eyes, he felt like he was dreaming and he badly wanted to wake up from this terrible dream.

His lips were slightly parted because of the shock and a lot of questions started to form inside his mind.

On the other hand, Taehyung noticed that Jungkook was taking very long to change so he barged inside his room to check whether everything was okay or not. But he was knocked out of his breath after he opened the door and saw Jungkook holding the paper which was about to bring another chaos in their life.

Before Jungkook kept , Taehyung was arranging his files but when the door bell rang he forgot to keep the file inside his shelf.

Taehyung could tell by the expression of Jungkook that he was doomed.

When Jungkook heard the door open , he looked at Taehyung with an unexplainable expression. His eyes which were holding so much emotion just a while ago were now void of any emotions.

His face became stern and his relaxed posture stiffened. He held the paper in his hands and showed it to Taehyung.

" What is the meaning of this Taehyung?"

Jungkook asked coldly and Taehyung could feel rage was building up inside Jungkook and how badly Jungkook was trying to contain it.

Taehyung gulped in fear ,his body became like a jelly and he couldn't meet Jungkook's piercing gaze.

"I ...ca...I mean...its..."

Taehyung was stuttering badly and he failed to form any words let alone a sentence.

Jungkook was losing his patience and he fisted his hands into a ball and asked in a colder voice than before,

" Is it true ?"

Taehyung looked down ,he couldn't answer it, it seemed like he stopped functioning and this pressed the wrong nerve in Jungkook and he lost his temper. He threw the paper on the floor with great force and growled making Taehyung flinch,
