Their apartment building was full of cats with caretakers, 10 cats per apartment. About 30 apartments were rented out to elderly or disabled people for 20% of normal rents. Many liked to play with the cats and helped socialize the formerly homeless cats. It was possible to save more cats from the streets (Wei's and Da Qing's goal) using the apartments and the shelter.
Training the dogs took more time than Yunlan could give due to work at SID, although he went to the dog training building right after work before Shen Wei was home. Sometimes Yunlan took night shifts in order to have daytime to train the dogs. When Shen Wei did not teach, he stayed with Yunlan in the daytime, fed him lunch and gave him an afternoon break.
During their break, Shen Wei often instigated "down time" as he called it. While they were down, some things came up. He got Yunlan to their bed and seduced him with his gorgeous naked body, first kissing him all over and removing clothing from them both.

Wei laid on the bed, hugged Yunlan then turned and sprawled on his back. He blinked several times. "Well, are you just going to lie there?" he would ask.
"No, That's not in the plans, Beloved. Let's go!" Yunlan straddled him and gave Wei "the works", as they liked to call it. They took a quick shower so Yunlan could do a few more hours of training.
When he was reading on the couch, Shen Wei's cat Frisky was copying Da Qing by laying on Shen Wei's lap with his head and paw on Wei's stomach. He assumed the position that Da Qing did with Yunlan, believing the big black cat was perfect and really cool.
Yunlan went to the kennel to train the dogs with Liu's expert advice. After working 2 hours with the dogs, Yunlan came back to his apartment. Wei had dinner ready for him to take to the office that night. Yunlan showered and changed.

Wei back hugged Yunlan. He pulled Yunlan close and whispered in his ear, "Are you sure you don't want me to come with you? Maybe it will be slow and boring there tonight. Maybe we could practice our martial arts exercises." Wei raised his eyebrows and smiled a shy smile.
They both laughed. Wei leaned in and nibbled on Yunlan's ear.
"Wei Wei. Don't sway me from my work. I'm going undercover to place listening devices in a pizza place frequented by mobsters." Yunlan was tempted, but he felt Wei should rest because he has to teach classes tomorrow. Wei could not go with him to the undercover job anyway. He might frown on Yunlan's plans to sample lots of pizza. "Thanks Sweetheart, but I will be fine. If I need you I can call you. Get some sleep, okay?"
"Okay. I will." Wei kissed Yunlan on the forehead and gave him a butterfly kiss on his neck. Yunlan laughed. He kissed Wei back on his cheek.
Yunlan and Wei held hands and looked at each other for a minute. They felt their electrical connection buzz their hands and arms. Their looks into each other's eyes were deep, as if looking at each other's souls, and they ended with sighs.
Wei said, "Alright, my handsome Lover. Be careful," Wei gave Yunlan an air kiss.
