The navigation console trills wildly, a dozen instruments all shout the same message:
The Albatross is going down.
The cabin is rank with the stink of ravenous flames and the acrid smell of burning circuitry. The coppery taste of blood dances on your tongue as you fight against your safety harness. You can't reach the failsafe that will end the VR Sim. The tactile fabricators batter you, pounding your chest. The ship's outer plating peels away, the viscous winds like razor blades slash lines across your skin. Outside, the ground rushes towards you, eager to dash you and The Albatross to bits.
