"Me?" (Ako?) Paige points her index finger at her face "Sasama sa ganyan?" (Going to stuff like that?)

Paige shakes her head slowly "No. No no no. High school prom nga hindi ko napuntahan. 'Yan pa kaya?" (No. No no no. I didn't even go to high school prom. What more, if it's this dance?)

"Tyaka bakit si Pablo?" (And why Pablo?) Felip looks back and forth at Pablo and Paige.

Pablo cringes at Felip, leaning back in surprise "Territorial."

"Required ba talaga ka-date sa mga ganon?" (Are dates really a requirement for those sort of things?) Paige keeps her defenses up, switching the stove off.

Pablo runs both his hands across his hair "Aagh. Di ko alam eh. Wala akong idea sa mga date date" (I don't know. I have no idea about the whole dating scene.)

"Anong alam ko sa mga sosyalan na ganyan?" (What do I know about all that fancy schmancy crap?) Paige is now draining the water from their noodles.

"Mukha nga eh. Minsan nga naiisip ko baka lalaki ka eh." (Obviously. Sometimes I wonder if you're a guy pretending to be a girl.) Pablo remarks but Paige didn't take it as an offense "Kinakabahan lang ako sa mga date date na ganyan eh" (Why does the idea of dating make me nervous? Damn.)

Paige finds their innocence cute but it bothers her.

If there's one thing Paige learned about living with pop stars, it is the fact that despite their confidence up in global stages, there are still things that they are limited to do:

one of those is to establish romantic relations with the opposite sex.

Paige couldn't blame them for it.

Boys like them were created, trained and controlled by rich people at very young ages. They have signed contracts that told them what to do and what not to do.

They spent early years of their lives just practicing to be who they are now.

They've mastered the art of being human robots.

Boy groups like them are often restricted from things that average people are free to enjoy.

And to be boys in pursuit of satisfying relationships could be against their lifelong bargain.

"Baka nakakalimutan mo ikaw si pinuno" (You're our leader, for christ's sake) Felip tries to summon Pablo's inner alpha dog.

"Di nyo na din naman kailangan mag effort pa eh" (Y'all don't even have to put in too much effort) Paige stops at what she's doing to slap some sense into them "Isang kindat nyo lang naman sa mga babae dyan kinikilig na mga yun" (A simple wink from you guys is usually all it takes for all these women to go gaga over you)

"First time ko makikipag date so dun na sana sa alam kong worth it na" (If it's gonna be my first time to date a girl, it should be someone who's worth it) Pablo is too organized for his own good. It reminds Paige of Kent so much.

"So ako talaga napili mong last option?" (So, what, I'm your last resort?) Paige sneers, making Pablo regret his declaration.

"Hindi ka ba talaga pupunta?" (You're not really coming?) Pablo's puppy eyes will probably work on anyone but Paige.

"Hinding hinding hindi" (Not in a million years) Paige answers confidently.

Felip has been staring at a ladle by the sink the whole time.

Pablo massages his temple like he's starting to get a headache "Sige na nga. Kahit sino na jan." (Fine. I'll just go for anyone available) "Ikaw ba, Ken? Sino naiisip mong i-date kung ayaw ni Paige?" (What about you, Ken? Any prospect in mind now that Paige doesn't want to go?)
