𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗗 with the rooster crowing loudly which awoke John B. His groans could be heard throughout all of the cut, as he checked his phone for service which it lacked now. He rolled out of bed and went to the kitchen and passed JJ who was sprawled on the sofa. There was no sight of Adelaide and no memory of her leaving, which led to some worry in the boy.
"Yo, JJ, where'd Adelaide go?" The brunette said as he slapped the shoulder of the blonde haired boy still lying with his head snuggled in the pillows. "She left some point in the morning." JJ's muffled voice came from underneath.
"You been outside?" John B asked looking out the window and heading out the door to see the damage. "I have polio, bro. I can't walk." JJ groaned and finally brought himself off the sofa once he realised John B exited the château. He grabbed a can of beer from the table, and stood outside on the porch, leaning on the railing and listening to the curses which came from John B. The boy was emptying the HMS Pogue, which was filled with branches and other rubbish the hurricane swept up.
"Agatha did some work, huh?"
"Yeah, she did." John B spoke annoyed as he thought, and JJ questioned on what he was imagining. "I'm thinkin' that storm surge pushed all the crabs out on the marsh maze. All those drum are gonna chase the crab."
"What about DCS?" The blonde questioned from the porch, and poured some beer into his mouth, "Wasn't that today?"
John B told him, they weren't going to get on a ferry after the hurricane and that it was God telling them to fish. So JJ agreed, and they both got on the HMS Pogue and set off to pick up their other two best friends.
