𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐀 was frozen, covered in miles of icy, cold snow. Y/n walked through the snow covered trees for the 512th day trying to take in all the good that is bad in this world.
Snow means the White Witch which also means war but this particular war cannot be won unless a prophecy is fulfilled. An ancient prophecy told over a 100 years ago, it was said that only the sons of Adam and daughters of Eve will be able to end this eternal winter and put a stop to the evil witches rein, with the help of Aslan and Y/n of course.

Y/n feels empty and lost without the heirs, the true heirs. She walks through the forest everyday walking the same path towards the only bit of warmth in this bitter cold. The lamp. Y/n looks at the lamp in awe. She finds it intriguing as to why it's there, in the middle of this particular forest. She can't help but feel a sort of respect for it, so she bows in front of it just like every other day. Y/n let out a sigh, she couldn't help but feel helpless, her friends were dying everyday and there was nothing she could do to stop that. She turned away from the lamp and walked to the edge of the cliff to reveal a beautiful, breathtaking view of Narnia. This is her kingdom, well for now at least. Even though this winter means war, death and heartbreak it has its benefits by being so damn gorgeous. She hates it.

Y/n reached the door engraved into the mountainside. She looked around to make sure no-one was watching and when she didn't see anyone, she knocked on the door softly and waited patiently. Within a few seconds the wooden door opened slowly to reveal and scared and trembling faun.

"Mr Tumnus?" Y/n asked

"Is everything okay?" Mr Tumnus was shaking and sweating, but when he realised it was her, his eyes widened and he swung the door open grabbed Y/n's wrist and pulled her into his house. Mr Tumnus's house was small but cozy, it was dug into the mountainside and there was something about it that just made you feel safe and at peace among all this war.

"I'm so glad you visited, Princess" he bowed and formed a soft smile.

"I visit everyday Mr Tumnus, what's so different about today?" Y/n tilted her head in curiosity.

"Please sit Princess, I have some brilliant news" Mr Tumnus took my hand and led me on the seat next to the fireplace. Y/n was growing more nervous by the second, was this everything she'd been hoping for? Was this news gonna change her life? For better or for worse?

Mr Tumnus sat down in front of her and couldn't help but smile until his cheeks went the shade of cherry's. He leaned forward and she did the same.

"I met the first daughter of Eve today" he leaned back and said nothing else. Was this a prank? Surely not, right? Was the prophecy really coming true?

"Well" Y/n took a deep breath

"Where is she now?"

"I was going to give her up to the White Witch" I sat up in panic.

"I didn't! But I was close" his eyes fell to the floor.

"She was so kind and so gentle I couldn't give her up. So I let her go. I let her go back" he stood up and bowed once more. "Please forgive me Princess"

Y/n walked up to him and cupped his face. "I'm so proud of you" she pulled him into a hug and she couldn't help but smile in excitement. The prophecy was finally becoming true, for the first time in years, she had hope and faith in Narnia once more.

"Where did she go? Did you see where she went? " Y/n asked she had to find this daughter of Eve as soon as possible. Mr Tumnus pulled away from the hug and took a breath.

"The lamp" he said
"I took her to the lamp and from there, I don't know" his eyes fell to the floor once more and she could tell he felt guilty. Y/n grabbed his hands and he looked up at the Princess.

"She is the daughter of Eve, she will return. But for now we must prepare"

"Prepare?" Mr Tumnus asked

"Yes, my dear. War is edging closer and we must be ready. This winter could be the death of us"
