"If you mean, you woke up and saw this handsome face then thank you Angel, I appreciate the compliment" I shout, to her as I start making the pizza dough as she comes out of the bathroom with a confused look
"Why are you making, homemade pizza? You do know, you could've ordered a pizza, right?" Sophia says, as she comes to stand next to me
I look down at her, and smile "Well, sweetheart I thought we could have a chill night, and I know how much you love Star Wars so I thought I would make some pizza and relax" she looks up at me, with a look I can't explain but I know that my heart is doing little flips
"Why, are you doing this Garrett?" She says, still looking up at me with does big brown doe eyes
Fuck
"Because I want to Angel, and I want you to relax for once and forget about your family drama" I tell her, as I turn my attention back to the dough and start kneading the dough
"Well, then can I at least help you with something?"
"You can start, by sitting your ass down and relaxing"
"Garrett" She says, glaring at me
"Angel, I want you to relax and besides I've made homemade pizza before I can do it alone but if you really want to help you an start by putting on all the Star Wars movies on" I tell her, which makes her roll her eyes at me as she moves to the leaving room mumbling words at me left and right
"Fucktard, Dingelberry" She says, now loudly which makes me let out a laugh as she turns her head to look at me
"Where do you come up with those?" I say, earning a shrug from her as she smiles at me
After, a few more seconds of kneading the dough I place the dough in a oil bowl and cover it before letting it rest for a few hours, I turn to look at Sophia to see her already have Star Wars on the TV
"Where did you learn how to cook?" Sophia says, as she walks back to the kitchen and sits down in one of the stools
"Well, my mom was never really around when I was a kid and my dad well, he was busy working every day, so I would search up cooking videos on YouTube every day and I just learned how to cook from there"
"Wow, and here I thought you went to a cooking class" Sophia says, making me smile
"You learn something new every day, right?" I say
After, a few hours later I got the pizza in the oven and cleaned the kitchen while we waited for the pizza to be ready
"Angel"
"Yeah?" She says, looking up at me while putting her wine glass down
"Did you see, Marcus today?" I tell her, in a low gentle voice, not trying to scare her or make her feel uncomfortable but I had a feeling that, that son of bitch said something to her
She sighs, as she sips her wine while looking at me through the top of the glass, giving me all the information I need to know
I nod, which makes her eyes widen and places her glass down again
"Don't do it"
"Don't do what?"
What your, thinking about doing"
"And what I am thinking about doing, Angel? I tell her, as I open the oven to check on the pizza
"Thinking about killing him and hidden him where no one will know" She says, now standing next to
"Well, I don't know about the hidden him part but the killing part I am considering it" I tell her, as I turn to look up at her, before taking out the pizza and cutting it
"Garrett" She says, in the tone no man like to hear
"I won't do anything, unless I have too Angel"
She stares at me for a while before nodding and pouring us some more wine before heading to the living room as I place our pizza in plates
"But, I am killing the fucker" I mumble under my breath as I make my way towards the leaving room
"What?" Sophia says
"Nothing, Angel"
I sit down next to Sophia, as she puts play on the movie as I look at her smile as she gets comfortable on the couch
"Thank you for doing this, Garrett" Sophia says, smiling at me before she lays down leaning against my shoulder and eating her pizza
"Of course," I say as I look down at her, with a smile before turning my attention back to the movie
"Anakin Skywalker is my husband, no one can compete with him" Sophia says, as she looks at me
"Not even me?" I tell her, as I drink my wine
"Maybe" She says, before giving me a devilish smile before looking back to the screen making me let out a chuckle
