Requiem of a Shinobi Wizard

Chapter 1

"No matter what I will love you always."

These were the final words of the reanimated shinobi, Itachi Uchiha to his younger brother, Sasuke Uchiha as the edo tensei finally broke, making Itachi's body crumble as his soul started going back to the world of the dead. Smiling while looking at his younger brother, Itachi could finally rest in peace as his mission was complete. To bring honor to the Uchiha name, to make sure his village stood strong no matter what, and protect his little brother, always and forever.

Finally, he could rest.

Or so he thought.

"Itachi Uchiha of the Leaf, heir of the Sharingan" addressed a voice as Itachi opened his eyes to see himself sitting under a tree, with a female figure looming over him, her eyes containing the galaxy herself. The female took a step back as Itachi quickly stood up, to his eyes viewing the never ending fields that were all around him.

There was no uneasiness in his breathing, he noted. It felt good, to breathe normally after so long. "Hello Itachi, my name is Kami, the goddess of all and everything" greeted the deity as Itachi widened his eyes before bowing low in her respect.

"AH! Enough of that, let's talk business shall we" laughed Kami as Itachi stood up straight, while her face grew a bit serious.

"That Edo-Tensei jutsu of Kabuto's has caused quite a dilemma in the functioning of the multiverse. It has led to four of the souls going into another world where they were not supposed to go, due to the amount of resurrections you stopped all at once, while Madara Uchiha resisted his, making a buffer time in which those souls escaped into another world, disrupting the flow of the multiverse altogether" confirmed Kami as Itachi just nodded, knowing that indeed it was a grave thing, but not understanding his role in it.

"You are having questions of the reason of your presence here, isn't it?" asked Kami as Itachi nodded.

"Well for the fact is, the universe that the souls have escaped too, is the universe of your past life" replied Kami as Itachi understood somewhat the deity hinted at, but not the whole context.

"Let me show you" said Kami as she put a single finger on the middle of his forehead, as the memories of him being Severus Snape, the double agent, came rushing to his brain. It took a minute for him to process all the information, as he now looked at the deity who had a sad smile on her face.

"I assume I do not need to further evaluate or elaborate you on the task I am about to give you?"

"No. I assume that I would need to go back to the Wizarding world to get rid of these anomalies that were transported there, as the cause of that was me as I am the only link between the Shinobi and the Wizarding worlds. I only ask, will my powers be with me, or not?"

"Yes of course Itachi, they would be there. Though, it would take a few days for you to unlock your chakra once I send you back."

"That's okay. I just wanna ask one thing -" said Itachi with a grave face as Kami nodded, awaiting the question.

"Was my brother able to find the right path?" asked Itachi as Kami nodded with a smile, making Itachi even more proud of his little brother.

"I can only send you back to the day of your Defence against Darks arts OWL Exam, for I may be a deity, but even my powers can only go far to an extent. Is it fine?" asked Kami as Itachi nodded. Placing her hands on his eyes, Itachi felt a new power surge into them.

"I updated your Mangenkyou Sharingan to the Eternal Mangenkyou Sharingan by taking the eyes of your father. And here are your original Mangenkyou Sharingan. Don't ask me why , but I know they will be useful in your endeavor. It will take a day of concentration to unlock your flow of chakra again, so don't try activating your eyes before or the backlash would be terrible" confessed Kami as she saw Itachi give her a puzzling look before nodding as she handed over the container of his eyes to him, which he stored in a storage seal on his hand.
