>Max's POV
"Your father is here, Maxine!"
My mom called from the kitchen. She has been extra rude to me this week.
"Coming!"
I responded, grabbing the things I had packed.
"Hello, Max."
My father smiled.
"Hey papa."
I smiled back.
A/N: Guys it's not Brenner don't worry, I just made her call him papa because I couldn't make her call him "daddy"💀 (which is what Elizabeth calls him most of the time)
"Alright, come on. Evan and Micheal are waiting. They're both very excited and I'm sure you are too."
My father left the house.
"Uhh- bye, mom."
I waved awkwardly and walked to my dad's car.
We didn't say much during the car ride, so I just looked out of the window.
As I entered the house, everything looked the same as back in California. Even the living room with Mike's mask. Can't believe he didn't throw it away yet.
"I am going to be in my office. You and your brothers are still forbidden to go down there. If you bring any friends over, remember to remind them of that. The house rules are still the same."
Dad informed.
"Ok."
I nodded.
My dad walked to the basement, which is his office.
I went to my room upstairs, which had "Max" on it and a skateboard sticker. Mike or Evan probably did it, dad would just write "Maxine".
I sat on my new bed and turned on my phone.
