/ Hetalia Italy's POV \
I like these people! They are so fun! Germany looks happy, Japan is talking more than usual, and I have a new friend! It was a little quite, so I decided to break the silence.
"sooo, what do you want to talk about?" I asked excitedly.
"How about our Childhoods?" The other Italy asked. I saw Germany shift a small bit, but I thought nothing about it, I saw our Japan's hand shoot up being supported by his other.
"Okay go ahead Japan!" I said happily.
"Well, when I was a child China found me in a bamboo forest and kind of adopted me as his little brother. Most of the time it was fun with him other times... I-I don't want to talk about that part" He said, the other Japan ran over and hugged him.
"Here, I have this for when I find someone like me, I've finally found someone" She said and put a small clip with a large pink flower attached to it.
"桜の花?" He said in his native language.
    "はい" She said back.
"ありがとう" Japan said, his eyes slightly shiny with tears.
"Who would like to go next?" The other Japan asked still hugging our's.
"I will" The other Italy raised her hand. I wonder if her childhood was like mine? I mean we are really similar. I asked in thought
"well, my papa was never around me, so I spend most of my childhood with Japan and Germany. I loved them as siblings, the closest thing to a parental figure was Imperial Japan, she, out the three, cared for us the most. Third Reich never cared for us, my Papa was busy with "missions" from TR, but imperial Japan made food for us, checked on us, took us to school, put us to bed, and bought us toys and played with us." Italy started
"But when WW2 began, she was around less and less, Germany, Japan, and I were getting more and more independent, we also became closer, until all of our parents died one by one. First is was my Papa, he was shot by someone who looked very similar to him. I never knew the person who killed him, but I was a little happy when I became a full country, I was finally free and independent. And that's basically my child hood" She finished with a slight breath. Welp we aren't that similar in that sense. I thought to myself again.
"I'll go next if you don't mind" The other Germany said in a calm voice.
"Of course go ahead" I said happily
"well, I had a similar childhood to Italy, although some parts are different. First, I witnessed my vater kill my uncle Weimar. And I believe Italy left out the fact that the three of us heard the very moment Vater killed himself. And then there was East... I miss her so much"
I saw Japan start to give Germany a look she quickly ran over to him.
"S-speaking of East, S-she still owes me like 40 Birthday gifts!" Japan said clearly trying to cheer up the mood.
"You say that every time i talk about her or her death" Germany said quietly but loud enough for us all to hear. Germany walked over to his other version and slightly knelt to Germany's eye level.
"Möchtest du weitermachen?" He asked
"Ja" Germany Said in reply. Why is everyone talking in their native language to each other? I don't understand German or Japanese! I thought to myself sadly.
"Who's next?" He asked.
"Me! Me!" The other Japan said excitedly.
"Sooooo, Germany and Italy basically already described most of our child hood but I have two things to add to mine! First, there was always a beautiful Sakura tree I loved to sit under and make flower crowns out of with branch. And of course I was with お母さん when she died, the last I saw of her was when she pushed my in the river to save me! I do miss her quite a bit" she said.
"Can I go next?" I asked excitedly.
"Of course dummkoft" Germany said to me.
"Well, when I was a bambino everyone thought I was a girl! I find it pretty funny! I lived with Mr.Austria, Mrs.Hungary, and Holy Rome! I loved to draw and listen to Mr.Austria's piano performances! I loved Holy Rome, but he had to leave, I haven't seen him since." I began, I slightly glanced at Germany I realized he looked incredibly like Holy Rome. I froze.
"イタリア?" Japan said.
"Oh, sorry I must have spaced out, but that's basically my childhood summed up!" I said.
"Germany, it looks like it your turn!" The other Italy said cheerfully.
"okay... I only remember one thing from before I was around 10, a girl. She always wore a green dress and had a very high pitched voice. But from dreams I have been in this strange body leaving the girl while she's crying. However I have no idea if that is real, just a dream, or not me. Other than that I was in my..." Germany said and sighed, I was still processing what he had said.
"Girlypop phase" he said quietly. I heard Japan slightly chuckle.
"Prussia alway makes fun of me for it, I wore dresses and stuff. Ugh, I can't believe I'm admitting this" Germany said embarrassed. Then what he said in the first part of his story hit me. I put my hand on Germany shoulder.
"Italien?" Germany asked
"sacro Romano Impero" I said.
"what? Why are you calling me Holy Rome? Italy? I know you miss him, but you mustn't call me him. Italy are you there?" Germany said concerned. God I'm crying again, I'm so weak. I thought to myself. I hugged Germany. I'm making a scene in front of our new friends!
