CHAPTER 36

Nang si Rowan at Nez na lang ang naiwan sa Alpha's office, napabuntong hininga si Rowan saka tinignan ang asawa. "May kailangan kang malaman."

"Ano 'yon?"

"I did something before."

Nez just looked at her husband. Napansin niyang kinakabahan ito at hindi makatingin sa kaniya ng deretso.

"What?"

"I..." Rowan squeezed his eyes shut. "I know you will get mad but I can't help but to feel guilty. Kapag sinabi ko lang 'to gagaan na ang pakiramdam ko."

"Ano ba 'yon?"

Rowan took a deep breath. "I manipulated you."

"What?"

"I give five million to Tommy to hurt you."

Nez eyes widen. Napatayo siya mula sa kinauupuan at napatitig sa asawa. "What did you say?'

"When I saw you and found that you are my mate, you are still with Tommy and you two are getting married. By chance, Tommy's company was at the brink of bankruptcy so I tempted him with money. I'm sorry, Nez. You are my mate and I will never let you to be with another man so I did that. I gave him money to cheat on you, to hurt you." Tumayo si Rowan saka naglakad palapit sa asawa. Lumuhod siya sa harapan ni Nez. "I'm so sorry, Love. I'm sorry."

Nakatitig lang si Nez kay Rowan. "You did that?"

"I did."

"Why?" Nez asked.

"Because I wanted to be with you."

Ipinikit ni Nez ang mata.

Walang nagsalita sa kanilang dalawa.

Rowan is kneeling in front of his wife while Nez was processing what Rowan had confessed to her. Rowan gave money to Tommy to hurt her. To cheat on her. But on the contrary of what Rowan did, Tommy was tempted and accepted the money knowing that he had a fiancée.

Nez sighed. Napailing siya. But thinking deeply, Tommy didn't really love her wholeheartedly. Kung mahal talaga siya nito. No matter what happened... hindi dapat ito nagpadala sa silaw ng salapi. Kung talagang mahal siya ni Tommy, hindi dapat siya nito niloko.

Tumingin si Nez kay Rowan. "Ro, get up."

Nag-angat ng tingin si Rowan. "Love..."

"Get up."

"Love, are you going to forgive me?" tanong ni Rowan.

"Get up first." Seryosong saad ni Nez.

Tumayo si Rowan.

"Sit."

Parang ewan na sumunod si Rowan sa asawa. Umupo siya sa sofa. Then suddenly, his wife straddle on his lap. "L-love..."

Ngumiti si Nez saka ipinalibot ang braso sa leeg ni Rowan. "I love you."

Namilog ang mata ni Rowan. "You mean..."

Tumango si Nez. "I forgive you but no more secrets."

Sa tuwa niyakap ni Rowan ang asawa. "Thank you, Love. Thank you."

Hinaplos ni Nez ang likuran ng ulo ni Rowan. "If Tommy really loves me, hindi niya dapat tinanggap ang pera."

"I'm glad he did."

Napailing si Nez. "Ro, magpasalamat ka na lang at mahal kita." Aniya. Then she whispered into her husband's ear. "Make love to me. But don't ever try to manipulate me again."

Rowan sucked his breath on his wife's neck. "I promise I will never manipulate you again." Tumayo siya at dahil nasa kandungan niya ang asawa niya, naisama ito sa pagtayo niya. "Let's go to our room."

Nez giggled. "Let's go."

But when they entered the room, Tyler suddenly takes over Rowan's body.

"Hi, Love." Tyler greeted Nez with his deep voice so Nez immediately knew that it was Tyler.

"Hello. Nice to meet you again."

Tyler grimaced. "Why do I feel like I am stranger to you?"

Nagkibit lang naman ng balikat si Nez saka hinigpitan ang yakap sa leeg ng asawa. Hinalikan niya ito sa labi. "Why do I feel like I am cheating here?"

Tyler chuckled. "Rowan told you everything?"

"You mean the manipulation?" Nez asked.

Tumango si Tyler.

"Yeah, he told me." Nez sighed. Kapagkuwan bigla niyang sinakal si Tyler pero hindi naman mahigpit. "May kinalaman ka rin doon 'no?"

Nag-iwas ng tingin si Tyler. So, Nez knew the answer. Napailing siya sa kinabig na lang ang batok ng asawa at hinalikan ito sa labi.

Tyler's breath became hitched when their lips parted. "It occurred to me. You've always been with Rowan. Ako naman ngayon." Hinalikan niya ang labi ni Nez.

Naglakad si Tyler patungo sa kama.

"Rowan..." Nez moaned but then she bit her lip. "Sorry. I was just used to Rowan."

"It's okay. Rowan and I are one." Tyler smiled and kissed Nez.

They kissed passionately and spent the night with each other.
