Chapter 24: Arriving Above Mustafar

(Planet: Mustafar)

Y/N's P.O.V

So we've just come out of hyperspace in the transport ship with the custom T.I.E attached to it.

We see a few Star Destroyer's over the planet Mustafar.

Jacen: Whoa. Dad's on one of those.

Sabine: Yeah, he is.

Hera: I'll send in our transponder code, as soon as we know Kanan is there. Y/N?

Y/N: Well, here goes nothin'.

I close my eyes and try to connect to Kanan through the force.

After a couple of seconds I hear Zeb's voice.

Zeb: So, anything?

Sabine: Give him a minute.

Zeb: We don't exactly have a minute.

Hera: Y/N, is he there?

I then feel Kanan's presence through the force.

I hear him gasp.

Kanan knows I'm here. I open my eyes. 

Y/N: He's there, he's still alive too!

Jacen: Yes!

Hera: Okay, sending codes.

As we get closer to the Star Destroyer Chopper sends in the custom T.I.E.

Once it's in the docking bay sabine sets the EMP off and the whole Star Destroyer blacks out.

Kanan's P.O.V

The whole Star Destroyer starts to black out.

Fifth Brother: Ah, I sense your Apprentice is here, Jarrus. How predictable.

Y/N's P.O.V

Hera has now brought us around to the air lock and we dock with it.

We all leave and leave Jacen, BD-2 and Chopper on the ship just in case.

After getting off the ship I see a wall ahead of us that'll get us closer to Kanan's location.

I go over to the wall and cut a huge hole in it with my saber.

I push the part of the wall off and we all climb through the hole.

Sabine: These guys will wake up soon.

Y/N: How soon?

Zeb: Too soon, I reckon.

Y/N: Come on, this way.

We run around a few different hallways for a few minutes, then we get an alert for BD tells us that Empire has just had reinforcements show up.

Hera: Wow, that was fast.

Sabine: Don't worry, on a ship this big it'll take 'em awhile to find us.

We turn the next corner and see some stormtroopers coming towards us.

Stormtrooper: Drop your weapons! Hands up!

Y/N: And they found us.

I pull out one of my blaster and shoot the leader down.

We then start running back the way we came, but we get cut off my another squad of stormtroopers.

After that we run the other way. Once we get behind a door I activate my lightsaber and start blocking blaster shots, while Hera gets the door closed.

Y/N: Okay, stand back.

I take my saber and stab into the door so it can't be opened up at all.

Sabine: Pretty clever, Flyboy. So, what's next?

I turn to them.

Y/N: Kanan's down that hall. I just had to cut off our only way to get to him.

Hera: It might be our only way, but it's not yours.

I then look up and see a hatch to a ventilation system.

Y/N: Good point. Zeb give me a boost.

Zeb puts his hands together and I jump off them to get the hatch open and climb into it.

Once I'm in I look down to see Sabine standing there.

Sabine: Good luck Y/N, be careful.

Y/N: I'll be okay. You guys stay safe.

After that I close the hatch.

Y/N: Time to find Kanan.

(Five minutes later)

After crawling through the vents for about five minutes I make it to an exit, which is in the cell block.

I cut my way through with my lightsaber and come out of the vent.

I put my saber back on my belt and go over to Kanan's cell. I open it to see Kanan is there.

Y/N: Looks like you taught me pretty well.

Kanan: You shouldn't have come for me, but I'm really glad you did.

Y/N: Hey, you would have done the same for me. In fact you already have.

I then release Kanan and catch him as he falls.

Y/N: You okay?

Kanan: Yeah, just a little weak right now. I'll be fine.

I then help Kanan as we leave the cell and go find the other's.

Kanan: So, where are we going?

Y/N: We're gonna go and meet up with the other's, then get the hell out of here.

Kanan: That's a good plan. How's Jacen? Is he okay?

Y/N: Don't worry, he's fine. He misses his dad though. You'll see him soon.

Kanan smiles.

Kanan: Okay, good.

I smirk.

Y/N: But we're not out of this yet. We gotta link up with the other's and get out of here.

Kanan and I continue to walk through the cell blocks trying to make our way back to the other's.
