January 31. My birthday. I am turning 14!!!! Mom woke up singing happy birthday. I know who I got my sing from. gigi was already up with dad in the living room.
I walk in with mom and gigi giggle. She was holding herself up by the coffee table.
"Hey Gigi" I said to her. She turned to me and took a step. Dad already had the camera out. she walk straight to me. I scooped her up and hugged her.
She just took her first steps on my birthday.
Later that night we went to the station. I thought grandpa wanted to give me a present. when I walked through the door I was on dads back laughing.
The whole station was decorated with streamers and balloons. After cake and presents dad told me he had one present left for his little princess.
Everyone went quiet and music started playing. Mom and Dad were standing on the stairs with mics.
Dad- She spins and she sways to whatever song plays

It's been a long day and there's still work to do

By the end of the song dad had tears in his eyes and so did I. Everyone cheered even grandpa Don was teary eyed.
I jumped off moms desk and ran and gave them both a hug.
Daddy whispered " happy birthday Cinderella."
