"Okay mama I need you to be careful okay baby? Don't hurt yourself" I said to Cara, "yes mummy" she responded, "you too Craig" I said to him, "yes mum and before you ask, my spray is in my bag I won't forget" Craig immediately said and I nodded and smiled, "that's my boy" I said.

I gave each of them a kiss on their foreheads then talked to their homeroom teacher before driving to the office.

"Chelsy!, my office in five" I said as I walked to my office and I heard footsteps following me,

"Good morning Nina" Chelsy greeted, "good morning Chels, Chels I thought I made it clear that everyone in this team has to be on the same page?" I asked her as I opened my laptop,

"You did" she responded calmly, "so why did you guys cancel the meeting with Mr Salvador without letting me know?" I asked and she hitched,

I carried my head up from my laptop, "I'm sorry Miss Wilson, he had it cancelled and made us schedule a private meeting with just you and him instead, I said you wouldn't like the idea but he insisted" Chelsy said making me sigh,

"Chelsy I appreciate that you will follow everything he or his company says because they are leading this project but I Will appreciate it more if you at least tell me? You are my assistant for a reason Chelsy, please I don't wanna have a talk about this ever again" I concluded,

"Sorry Miss Wilson" Chelsy apologized, "it's Nina, and what time is the meeting and where?" I asked her,

"This afternoon at 12pm at XXX cafe down the street" she said and I nodded.

After she left I could only scream at myself. Why, why does he wanna meet privately!. It's like the more I run away the more he comes back.

once it was time for me to go to the cafe, I changed from my office slippers back to my heels and wore my blazer over my long slim gown before leaving the office.

Arriving at the cafe, a waiter quickly walked to me and led me into a private room in the cafe.

After a while, the door of the room opened and Sammy walked in making me stand up as a-greeting gesture because I came here as a business partner,

"Why did you suddenly cancel the meeting with the team?" I asked after we both sat down, "the board of directors want to have a joint meeting tommorrow morning and I wanted to meet you and I knew there was no way I will meet you excpet for work" he said, I knew it.

"I'm listening" I said as if i knew exactly why he wanted to see me, "I'm sorry Nina, I won't stop apologizing to you about everything" he said. I pursed my lips and took a deep breath, " do you actually want to be a dad to them or do you just feel sorry and guilty for all what you did?" I asked him sternly and he didn't talk for a while,

"both. I want to be a dad to them with all my heart and I feel guilty too" He said making me close my eyes as I felt like tears where about to run down my cheeks,

"you know, if only you didn't ruin everything, we would've still been a strong relatiosnship, you would've known about your kids without any probelms and I wouldn't have to face insults from your mother" I said calmly,

"I know and I'm sorry, why do I have to pay for a crime my mother committed?" he apologised and asked at thesame time.

I thought to myself and all the things Diana and Jose said to me about me giving him a chance to be a dad suddenly hit me and I didn't even realise tears started running down my cheeks.

"don't touch me" I said tiredly as he tried to extend his hands to wipe my tears making him slowly revert his hand.

"I will not make the tiwns a part of this fight, but you will have to keep my children away from your mother, only your siblings are allowed to see them and that will be under my permission, because I know how kind your siblings are, I'm not going let my children get shattered by your mother" I said finally coming to a conclusion,
