Bay, Black, and Brown Horses~
A brown horse has a mixture of black and brown hair over the body and the legs, and mane and tail hairs are black or dark brown.
A bay horse has brown hair on the body, but the mane and tail are black. A bay horse also has black points meaning that the muzzle, tips of ears and lower legs are also black.
A black horse has all black hairs with no trace of brown anywhere.
Black, brown, and bay horses can have white markings on the face and the lower legs.
