☆ half of my class failed math (I PASSED!!) im supposed to do double update but i got tired while writing the 9th chapter —————————————————
currently, xiao is sitting in between hu tao and yunjin instead of sitting next to (n). apparently, kuni decided to sit next to him because he only knew (n) so far — there's a reason why communicating and making new friends exists but yet he has decided to sit next to (n)? what a fucking simp.
but still, xiao couldn't help but feel irritated by kuni. he has a lot of important things he would have paid attention to but he decided to focus on (n) and kuni's relationship. he need to move on for the sake of his friendship with (n) and also maybe to try and get closer to kuni.he seems like a cool guy to hang out with.but kuni seems like he didn't want to hang out with xiao.so that's the problem.
turning around with a blank face on xiao,he was met with ajax,(n) and kuni talking together.(n) seemed comfortable talking to the both of them — was his presence uncomfortable to (n)?
"ah, today is kinda hot, isn't it..?" (n) sweats while fanning himself with his hand."fanning yourself with your hands won't work,(n.n)." kuni shook his head while slightly chuckling."how about i buy you … (f.d)?" (n)'s eyes slightly brighten."how did you know i like it?!" kuni smirked in response.
"it's a secret." the truth is,(n) sometimes couldn't stop ranting about how good (f.d) is in discord — it was his first time seeing someone this obsessed with a drink.xiao,in the other hand, was bewildered by his sudden knowledge on what (n)'s favourite drink is.he decided to shrug it off, it's none of his business to question it.
later at lunch,kuni bought the drink as promised."thank you so much,kuni." (n) thanked him and took a sip of (f.d). xiao stared at them…? but it doesn't really look like he really is looking at them — he was looking behind them.
he seemed mesmerised by whoever the person behind them and the friend group noticed that.sadly,they didn't manage to see who he was staring at. "xiao,who are you staring at?" hu tao was quick to ask first so she could tease him later on.
"...no one.he just looks like an imaginary friend of mine." hu tao seemed surprised,it seemed like she knew who he was talking about."(n.2?) you did mention about him being your imaginary friend after he suddenly disappeared." (um!!!)
"what? this is some cliché wattpad story." ajax said while holding his drink."right.." xiao scoffed."maybe i should talk to him." he stood up and walked away to find the person.
(n) looked at the friend group and pointed at xiao."what's up with him?"
"he's going to talk to someone." yunjin replied."i hope he's alright." (n) said with pity.
"hm,right.."
today,(n) couldn't help but be worried about how xiao kept zoning out,he seemed like he's thinking about someone and he kept on smiling at the most random times — he never acted like this,at least that's how he always had thought about xiao.
(n) waited for xiao at the front gate but xiao was nowhere to be found.xiao usually would inform (n) first if he had to go somewhere so he doubts xiao already left.
suddenly, his phone let out a soft ding and he immediately took his phone.the notification showed xiao'a contact that said something rather disappointing ;

he should've informed him way sooner because (n) didn't know how long he had been standing outside of the school's gate and the students already left.
now,he's all alone,the weather seemed bad as well which only adds up the negative vibes to (n). isn't it just so great?
soon,the rain slowly came and (n) quickly closes his phone so the phone wouldn't be wet.
"don't you have any umbrella?" kuni suddenly appeared behind (n) with a smirk."kuni?when did you.."
"doesn't matter, let me bring you back to home, alright?" (n) didn't want to reject him so he gladly accepted his offer.
