I laid up in bed looking at Chresanto sleeping so soundly he looked angelic. I got up and grabbed a pair of his boxers,shorts and, tee shirts then took a quick shower. I started to venture around his house, looking at baby pictures "cute." on the tables I felt my phone ringing so I picked it up "Hey Nala."
"Hey bitch!" She cursed
"Hey, what's up?" I asked
"Prince bitch!" She cursed
"Yea hoe, what do you want?" I chuckled
"Aw meet me at Starbucks, hoe we need to catch up."she asked
The events of me whooping Ray's ass appeared in my head.
"Uhh......I can't I'm banned from that one can't we just meet up at home, I mean you're there right?"I said
"Yea I'm here, We realllly need to talk bitch. You're so hasty in leaving Chresanto's place did hero do somethi-" She was cut off
"No!.....NO, he didn't do anything......I just...just wanna go home that's all I miss ma."I said
An awkward silence filled the phone from both ends.
"Kay, bye.....see ya then." She said ending the call quickly
"Wait!" I said catching her
"Huh?" She said
"Can you come pick me up?......., Uhh my vehicle is at home." I asked
"Sure we can grab some food and talk?" She said
"Yeah, that's fine." I said
I ended the call.
I checked to see if Chresanto was still sleep, which he was. I walked in his room and quickly gathered all my belongings in a blue storage container cube.
"Huah." I huffed finally ready to go.
Honk honk honk
I walked out the front door and locked it. I put the cube in the trunk of Nala's white Mercedes.
"Hey jakey." she said
I smiled softly.
"Where to?" She asked
"We can go through the drive-through at Starbucks?" I suggested
"Kay, that's coo." she said pulling off
The car ride was relatively short but quiet until Nala pulled up to the drive through.
"Okay, order what you want" She asked
"Hey can I get a chocolate carm mocha latte with medium foam and 9 assorted cake pops but 3 of them chocolate please" I told
"Kay, anything else?" The lady asked
"Yeah and can I also get a vanilla bean latte with chocolate cream." She said
"Kay pull up to the window." the lady directed
We went through the line. Nala paid for the item, then it was on our way.
"Sooo......Jakey why you get banned?" She asked
I took a sip from the latte, letting it warm my throat.
"Ray, uh tried to run up and he got....." I said taking another sip.
"Fucked up." I said nonchalantly
"Wow Ray or should I say Ranlei, I always knew that bitch was something." She said exposing his secret.
