Do you Believe?

This is getting weirder and weirder... It's been a week since I saw the shadow. Last night though, when my friends slept over, I went down to get a midnight snack when the shadow appeared again! This time, though, it stood there looking at me. I froze. Then it put its hand up to the window! All of a sudden, ghostly letters appeared that said: 'Do you believe?' At this point, I was really freaked out, so I closed my eyes and I wished it would go away. When I opened them, my wish had come true! Both the shadow and the writing had mysteriously disappeared! It was really mind boggling because I had no idea what the message meant. Maybe the thing was a ghost? Or some paranormal creature?

In the middle of the night, I awoke to a shhh sound. That's when I heard it. The whispers.

"It's all your fault she's awake!" a voice whispered.

There were two shadows on the wall.

"SHHHH! She'll see us!" another voice whispered.

"She can't. She doesn't believe."

Wait, what? I didn't get it...wait! The writing on the window! It asked if I believed, and the voice said I didn't believe. But the real question was: what didn't I believe or believe in? Maybe they meant I didn't believe in them, whoever they were.....
