i've been creating poetry out of not being able to write.
i've been thinking, feeling, and scribbling endless words on the scattered pages across the bedroom floor
"i've been awake through every state lines," and drowning in my head at the same time
i've been lying on the cold floor, imagining "what ifs"
listening to the melodies of thunder and storm
i've been creating poetry out of not being able to write. but when I take a look at those scribbles on the bedroom floor,
poetry has been already created.
