A few weeks later after Bella and I bonded a bit and after I graduated early finishing credits for school she came to see Jacob everyday as he was resting. Embry and I were sitting in a field with her and Edward while they talk about the wedding "August 13th?" Edward asks not looking away from Bella "yeah it's a month before my birthday I don't need to be another year older than you" we all laugh a little as Embry holds me tight "Alice said she could get the wedding together by then" I giggle "I bet she could girl is an amazing planner" Edward looks to me smiling and I smile softly back accepting the way things will be "there's no rush" Edward says turning back to Bella "I've chosen my life I want to start living it" she says softly and I smile with her knowing what she wants it makes me happy "and you're going to let Alice plan the whole thing?" Edward asks "she may go overboard like with your dress, the reception and the guest list even" I say adding onto his question

Bella nods as Edward continues "who knows who she is going to invite" Bella laughs "does it matter?" Edward sits up suddenly serious "I just don't know why you're doing this." Bella looks confused "what do you mean? The wedding?" Edward shakes his head "you're trying to make everyone else happy but giving away too much" she closes her eyes "you're wrong" she stands up and Embry and I look at her and Edward "this isn't a choice between you and Jacob.. it's between who I should be and who I am I've always felt out of place like stumbling through life and I've never felt normal and maybe I'm not and I don't want to be" I smile at her "normal is boring anyways" everyone smiles as well but Bella never looks away from Edward "I've faced death and loss and pain in your world but I've also never felt stronger and like myself before meeting you" there's a comfortable silence

Edward smiles looking around between the flowers, Bella then Embry and I and back to bella "so it's not just about me?" He says smirking bella shakes her head at his question laughing "no eddy it's about all of us" I smile as bella nods bella goes back to edwards level and they kiss after she whispers something to him then stands up "maybe more dangerous" I giggle "now what more fighting?" Bella shakes her head laughing "we have to tell Charlie" I look to Edward "ooooooooo good luck eddy boy let me know what happens" I laugh as Embry shushes me and kisses my head and Edward laughs a bit "that's really dangerous" he says looking up to Bella "it's a good thing you're bullet proof" and with that comment Embry and I laugh loudly and stand with bella as he wraps his arms around my waist  "I'm gonna need that ring" Bella says softly and Edward stands up sliding it on her finger and I gasp at how beautiful it is. And they hug as we make the decision to go at that moment and tell Charlie.

As we make it to Bella's house Embry and I wait outside as bella and Edward talk to Charlie and Embry and I sit in the bed of Bella's truck talking and looking at the sky as the sun sets I look to Embry who looks like he's thinking about something "Em you ok?" I ask looking concerned he looks at me smiles softly and nods "I was just thinking that after this I'll take you to meet my mom" I sit up straighter and my eyes go wide "wait really? What if she hates me what if she thinks I'm the reason you're sneaking out what if-" Embry cuts me off with a quick kiss as he pulls away he rests his head on mine "at least then she will know I'm not doing anything stupid" I smile and nod seeing bella and Edward coming out and Edward shakes Charlie's hand all of them smiling "congratulations and please treat my daughter right or else" I smile at how protective Charlie is and Bella and Edward walk towards Embry and I

As Bella and Edward make it to us bella stops in front of me "y/n I have a question " she says happily and I look at her confused "ok?" I look at Edward and Embry then back to Bella "would you like to be my maid of honor?" She asks as my eyes go wide and a smile breaks out on my face "OF COURSE" I laugh jumping up hugging her "and to think about a month ago you couldn't stand bella" Edward says laughing "oh hush don't ruin the moment eddy" I laugh softly and hug Embry "you're coming right?" Embry smiles more "as long as it's ok with Edward and Bella

-Time skip to a few weeks before the wedding-

As Embry and I walk up to his home I stop him "Em what if she doesn't like me ?!" I asked hurriedly "he grabs both of my hands making me look into this eyes "she will love you. You're amazing y/n don't worry" I calm down instantly as Embry leads me inside the smell of food hitting my nose "mom we're here " Embry calls out his mother soon appearing with a smile on her face as she sees us "welcome you must be y/n Embry has told me so much about you" I smile softly "it's nice to meet you ma'am" she then pulls me into a hug and leads us into the kitchen "the food is about ready come sit" we sit down talking with his mother the night goes smoothly with laughter and a lot of bonding soon Embry hears thunder and tells his mom he's driving me home  as I leave she gives me a plate of food for my father and one for Jacob "thank you ma'am" I say as Embry and I walk out "feel free to come back any time " she smiles as he shuts the door and Embry turns to me "I told you" he smiles as we get into the car
