King: Now this event is a competition of teams and will be called the magic crystal destruction tournament

The king explains the rules I'm not going to because I don't feel like it

Julius: Now let us reveal the team roster

Ryu: huh looks like I'm on a team I with someone named X and a member of the crimson lion kings

Ryu walks over to them

Ryu: hey your named is Ruben right

Ruben; huh yeah your that friend of Leos who came with us to the hot spring glad we've got someone strong

Ryu: don't count yourself short my friend but do you know who X is

Ruben: honestly I've got no idea but I know we'll win this regardless I've got a lot thanks to that training

Julius: Now we have our groups let us advance to the testing ground

(If you wondering yes I chose this team because it would be the easiest to do also the ice guy that was on there team doesn't really have any affect on the story so I chose to get rid of him)

Ryu: wow so this is where it's all going down huh sweet

Ruben; I'm going to go and prepare with some serious mental training I will be there when our match is ready

Julius creates the roster

Ryu: so we are fighting in the fifth match this'll be interesting

Julius: though winning or losing does not necessarily correlate being chosen more victories will increase your favourably this is an ideal chance for you all to put your talents on full display

Ryu: let's look at these other matches

Asta, mimosa and creepy weirdo are going first

Noelle is going up against solid that'll be fun to watch

Finral might be going up against langris

Ryu: and if I make it there I'll be fighting pretty boy in the finals

Julius: magic knights it's time to start the exam

Asta freaks out: we are in the first battle and everything

Julius: attacking your opponents directly is allowed and although this should go without saying there should be absolutely no killing

Ryu: (he said that last part way to cheerfully)

Julius: we have mages with recovery magic standing by for the injured so please hold nothing back

Ryu cracks his knuckles: (sweet makes it even better with all that extra training I've unlocked something wickedly powerful I imagine pretty boy and asta have as well)

Vanessa: yoohoo the beautiful babes of the black bulls are here to cheer for our friends you got this
