The next day, Bella was discharged from the hospital with strict instructions to take it easy and rest for a few days. She was grateful to be out of the sterile hospital room and back in the comfort of her own bed. As she lay there, she couldn't help but think about the events that had transpired over the last few days.

She had been attacked by a classmate, saved by a beautiful blonde stranger, and treated by an impossibly handsome doctor. Then attacked again while at the hospital. It all felt like something out of a movie, but it was her reality.

Bella couldn't shake the feeling of curiosity about Dr. Cullen. She found herself wondering about him, wanting to know more. Was he married? Did he have kids? What did he like to do in his free time? She knew it was silly to be so fixated on him, but she couldn't help it.

Just as she was lost in her thoughts, her phone rang, interrupting her musings. It was a call from her dad, who was currently out of town for a police convention.

"Bella, I heard about what happened. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, dad, I'm okay. I'm just resting at home now."

"Good. Listen, I have some news. I'm going to be gone for a few more days than planned. I have to fly out to Chicago as a consultant on an ongoing investigation. I hope you don't mind staying by yourself for a little longer. I hate to do it, I wanted to get a plane back as soon as I heard but—"

Bella sighed. "It's okay, dad. I'll be fine. Just be safe, okay?"

"I will. Take care of yourself, Bella. I'll call you soon."

After she hung up with her dad, Bella couldn't help but feel a twinge of loneliness. She was used to being alone, but after everything that had happened, she wished she had someone to talk to.

She decided to distract herself by reading a book, but found herself unable to concentrate. Instead, she found herself scrolling through social media, mindlessly browsing until she came across Dr. Cullen's profile.

There were only a few pictures on his profile, but each one made Bella's heart race. In one, he was standing next to a beautiful woman who looked to be his wife. Bella couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment.

In another photo, he was standing with a group of people, all dressed up for what looked like a fancy event. She found herself wishing she could be there, standing next to him, laughing and enjoying the evening.

She quickly closed out of the app, chiding herself for being so ridiculous. She didn't even know him, yet she felt drawn to him in a way she couldn't explain.

Bella decided to try and get some rest, closing her eyes and willing herself to fall asleep. As she drifted off, she couldn't help but dream about Dr. Cullen, his kind eyes and charming smile, and the way he made her feel.

The next day, Bella woke up feeling a little better, but still sore. She decided to take a shower to try and ease the stiffness in her muscles. As she stood under the warm water, she couldn't help but think about Dr. Cullen again.

She knew it was silly to be so fixated on him, but she couldn't shake the feeling. She wondered if he was thinking about her too, or if she was just another patient he had treated and moved on from.

Just as she was finishing up her shower, there was a knock at the door. Bella quickly threw on a robe and answered it, surprised to see Rosalie standing there.

"Rosalie, hi! What are you doing here?"

"I just wanted to check on you!"

Rosalie arrived at Bella's house looking like a model straight out of a fashion magazine. She was tall and slender, with long blonde hair that cascaded down her back in soft waves. Her features were flawlessly symmetrical, from her high cheekbones to her full lips, and her piercing golden eyes seemed to sparkle in the light.
