Chapter 2: Two Smitten, One Lies

It soon became night time and everyone was starting to head home

"Aww... I didn't want to leave just yet..." Neg4 pouts, sitting in the middle of the room "I'm not leaving..."

Smg3 groans and shakes his head, he was sitting on the steps with Neg3 "He's such a baby..."

"Can you blame him?" Neg3 looks at him "I mean... I haven't seen him so happy since... Y'know? I can't imagine he'd want to leave after having fun today"

Smg4 gasped, taking Neg4's hand and pulling him up "What if you stayed here? Then we can have more fun tomorrow!"

Neg4 gasped with a smile "That sounds amazing!"

"Guess that means you're stuck In the graveyard with me, Neg3" Smg3 stood up

"Aww, come on, can you guys stay with us?"

"Ew, as if!"

Neg3 got up and walked next to Smg3, whispering to him again "If you don't mind, I'd like to keep an eye on both of them. I know you say they're okay but..."

Smg3 thought for a moment then he sighed, looking at Neg4 "Fine! We'll stay!" He crossed his arms "Not like I'll enjoy it or anything..."

"Yay!" Neg4 hugged him but Smg3 didn't stop him

"My room is kinda small for all four of us, so I'll just set up some beds in JRB. Normally Mario or someone stays in there while they're here, but since everyone went home for the night it shouldn't be a problem" He walked to the JRB room "I'll come back when they're all ready" he shut the door behind him

Neg4 pulled away from the hug and pouted "Okay, why are you guys keeping secrets from me and 4?"

Smg3 crossed his arms again "It's my Evil Agenda, what's it to you?" He lied

"If you're lying to protect us from something, you don't have to... We're okay now..."

Neg3 gives him a small smile "We know that 4, but... It's nothing important, don't worry, okay?"

Before Neg4 could speak up, Smg4 came out "Alright, we're all set!" He calls from the doorway "Let's get some shut eye guys!"

Neg4 started walking to 4 but Neg3 grabbed his hand "Listen" He whispers "After everything that's happened, I didn't want to worry you or the other 4 so please don't worry him..."

"I know you didn't..." Neg4 turns to him "Don't worry, I won't let him know you guys are keeping secrets!" He smiles as he let's go of Neg3's hand and continued to walk to JRB

"Was that meant to be Sarcastic or not?"

"I could care less" Smg3 walked passed him  "I'm exhausted!"

"From distracting your 4 from his game?" Neg3 follows him with a grin

"Being a troll is exhausting, what can I say?" Smg3 shrugs

They all go into the room and go to sleep. Late that night, Neg4 was woken up by the sound of shuffling, he sat up in his bed and rubbed his eyes. He noticed two figures leaving the room and tilted his had

"Smg3 and 4?" He whispers, confused. He goes over to Neg3's bed and shakes him "3... 3 wake up!"

"Go back to sleep 4..." Neg3 groans, turning the other way

"3... Smg3 and 4 just left the room... Something's wrong..."

"Maybe they're getting food?"

"In the middle of the night?"

"Ever hear of a midnight snack?" He turns to face his 4 "Glitchy, you're just stressing yourself over nothing, everything's okay now... Just go back to bed please?"
