"Waah!"

The sounds of a baby crying made their way to the ears of three young boys, sitting impatiently in their room as their parents had shut them in.

"Mommy must have made a new baby again," commented the six year old, not very sure what he was talking about. His little sky-blue eyes shone with innocence and curiosity. He tried his best to hear what was going on outside their room.

Before long their father came to fetch them, silently herding the boys to their mother's room.

"Boys, meet your sister," their mother spoke, beaming with happiness. "She'll be the only girl among you, so take care of her, okay?"

"Blaze Pyrapi Ryntis!" yelled Quake, the oldest sibling in the family. "No using your powers indoors!"

"Oh, come on, Gemgem," protested Blaze. "It's too hot to practice my juggling outside!"

"Inside will be hot too if you burn the house down!" Quake lectured, not knowing what to do with his hyperactive sibling. "Go practice with something that won't set the house on fire."

"Okay Quake, I'll grab the-"

Quake didn't even need to look to see that Blaze was heading for the kitchen plates.

"Don't even think about it. Atok will kill you-and me if you leave shards of broken glass all over the floor," Quake interrupted, already heading upstairs to his room. He sighed. " I come back from TAPOPS mission and this is how they treat me."

But Quake couldn't help but put on a smile when he saw his youngest sibling, Shadow.

"Hi big bro!" greeted Shadow, the only girl currently living in this house. The small sized girl used her shadow tendrils to lug her brother's humungous suitcase up the stairs, before pushing it into her brothers' shared room.

"And so, since I'm here, tell me about your mission," insisted Shadow. The eyes of this young girl sparked with curiosity, eager to hear about yet another TAPOPS mission.

"Well, it went alright," chuckled Quake. "You don't have to ask for details every time I come back you know. It's just the normal stuff."

"Haha, 'normal'?" replied Shadow. "I don't think traveling to other planets and rescuing power spheres is normal! *suddenly notices Windy boy and tsundere boy are missing* Oh yeah, anyways, where is Taufan and Hali?"

"Oh, Hali? He's being punished for ignoring instructions from commander, so he's staying back at TAPOPS station to mop the floor of the entire building-without using his powers. So, he'll be there for a few days maybe." Quake explained. "Cycy just stopped to play football with a couple kids/fans. He'll be back soon. He's too good at playing to have a real challenge with the neighborhood kids. I swear, he has too much energy!"

Just at that moment, the doorbell conveniently rang like mad, and a loud voice shouted from outside their house shouted,

"I AM BACK GUYS!"

"Cyclone's back!" exclaimed Shadow, sliding down the staircase railing, grabbing the keys and unlocking the door.

"Hi Shadow!" grinned Cyclone, dropping his bags on the floor, dematerializing his hoverboard, and giving his siter a hug and patting her head. "How are ya?"

"I'm good," smiled Shadow, turning on a huge grin. "I missed you Cycy! Why can't I go with you on missions for TAPOPS? My powers are just as strong as yours!"

"Of course, your powers are strong," Cyclone gave a serious-ish smile. "But you're not ready to explore the dangers of space yet, okay?"

"And what makes Solar and Thorn 'ready' then?" pouted the 13 year-old girl, crossing her arms. "They're barely older than me!"

Quake let out a sigh at the stubbornness of his younger sister. It was not the first time that she had brought up this conversation.  "Solar and Thorn have more experience and training than you do. Plus, they're more responsible and know when it's safe to use their powers. And, Shadow, you know your powers aren't like ours."

Shadow crossed her arms and pouted, but didn't argue further. She had heard this argument many times before, but she couldn't help feeling frustrated. She knew she was strong enough to help others.

Shadow felt restless as she watched as her brothers did heroic things on earth, and accross the galaxy. But despite all her brothers' reasoning, just couldn't shake the desire to follow her brothers and help them rescue power spheres across the galaxy. She couldn't help but feel that they always underestimate her.

"Just because I'm a girl and the youngest doesn't mean I'm weak or helpless....And I can use my powers just fine."

The only girl in the family just had to hatch a plan to sneak aboard the spaceship with her brothers.
